Serves meat, vegan options available. A small, family-owned frie-shop and snackbar, just outside of the city center. Offers 10 or more vegetarian burgers, a few vegetarian snacks and vegetarian lasagne & pasta, in addition to large salads that can be made vegan upon request. Vegans can order several burgers, including tofu, hazelnut and quinoa/red beet including vegan mayonnaise, plus vegan spring rolls. Open Mon-Fri 10:30-14:00, 17:00-22:30, Sun 18:00-22:00. Closed Sat.

The best frie-shop in Kortrijk and maybe even Belgium. And they also have a ton of veggie and some vegan options! - Edit
It might sound as an exaggeration to call them the best Frie-shop in Belgium, but they did in fact win the award in 2017. And once you've tried the fries it's hard to deny them the title.
Read moreIt is a small family business and they have made the deliberate choice to keep it small and thus guarantee the quality. The bad news is, that it can be a bit busy at times resulting in some queue times, but good things are worth waiting for.
This is not the only frie-shop that you can get a salad, but none do it better than DBF. The salads are huge and diverse. When you opt for one of the menus which include one of the many vegetarian burgers or one of the vegan burgers, plus a salad and fries. You will not leave hungry! The fries are truly baked to perfection, golden yellow, crunchy but not hard, and not too fat!
They also have the vegan Chicken crunchy and vegetarian frikandel and "Vleeskroket" all of which are delicious!
*NEW* They now also serve the "Las Vegan" sauces. Which means you have about 10 different vegan sauces, ranging from Samourai to Andalouse and so on!

Great fries and burgers - Edit
There are two vegan burgers which are both great! The fries are super tasty. There are a lot of veggie snacks, but not so many vegan ones, but I keep asking, so hopefully this will expand soon!

I believe they have 3 vegan burgers: Quinoa Red beet, Quinoa Broccoli and Hazelnut burger. I've personally come up with a fourth one: A bami burger on a bun with the brown bicky sauce. I call it the "Jonas-Burger". :-D

Read moreI've asked about the broccoli burger and they said it is gluten-free but not vegan.. If it is really vegan maybe you can ask that they write it on the board as well? At the moment vegan is only noted for the quinoa red beet and the hazelnut!
