Not really for vegans - Edit
We went here for a very dissappointing three course dinner. Ambiance/atmosphere is really nice, but the owner explained to us when we could not hide our dissappointment with the first two courses that he does not focus on vegan/vegetarian because this only makes up a very small part of his clientele. So I suppose the quality of the vegan/vegetarian dishes is very poor contrasted to the fish/meat dishes to which they must owe their positive rating on i.e. Tripadvisor. For every dish we had to wait 1 - 1,5 hour. We had a fun evening but this was despite the restaurant.

Passion for food - Edit
The presentation was fabulous and the food delicious, especially because it was in season. Since the new owners took over, the place has been focusing on locally sourced foods, which are in season and often organic. The staff is very friendly and has a clear passion for food; they will tell you all about it if you ask.
Read moreThe three course meal I had was part of the special seasonal 'roots day' which had them work together with a local organic food distributor. All courses were made with delicious roots including 'forgotten vegetables'. Never knew you could make beet jelly!
Next to the food they have a nice selection of wine if you fancy that.
Good to know: if you have allergies they will help you choose from the menu or even make you something special!

Slow and they made several mistakes - Edit
We had to wait for a long time before every course. The olives and sun dried tomato's were very good though. The vegan main course was terribly salty and was served with a side salad with normal mayonnaise (without warning). I politely complained about this, but after that, they even managed to serve the tofu lime cake with normal whipped cream. Not very nice. I did enjoy the life piano music...
