On our second day in Koh Samui we tried to eat here. We checked the hours before and they said they were open from 12pm-9pm. We took our scooter down at around 2pm. When we got there, the restaurant was open, tables were set, lights were on etc., but nobody was there. We walked all the way back to the kitchen, checked the washrooms and everywhere else but nobody was around. We looked up the number to call and a woman (assuming she was the owner bc the phone call went to her personal number and not the restaurant) answered telling us they were open. We assured her that, yes, it looked as though they were open but nobody was working at the restaurant. She said she would call the worker for us and call back, which she did. She told us the employee had run to the grocery store for some ingredients and would be back in 30min. Fine... although slightly strange as there were keys and other personal belongings just hanging out on the tables without supervision. Anyways, we thought we'd wait as we were really excited to eat some good vegan food. We waited 40min and there still was no signs of life so we decided to leave. We tried again the next day and we actually got a chance to eat. What we wanted wasn't available so we ordered the burger with fries. The burger was good but the fries- nothing special. Service during our visit was ok, the waitress was kind but the only time we saw her was when she took our order and brought our food (I know she could have been the cook as well but with us being the only 2 customers the whole time we were there, checking in on us wouldn't have been a difficult task). After dinner we saw a chocolate pb cake on the dessert menu- sounded yummy! But that was unavailable also. We were told it would be available the next day. So the next day we called to check if we could get the cake, but again, it was unavailable. We hadn't given up on this place yet and decided to try and go for another meal today. We arrived at around 12:30pm and the store front was locked up and dark, nobody was there. Pretty disappointed as there's nothing more frustrating than arriving at a place which claims to be open and isn't. The only good thing about our 3 experiences here was the burger.

Simple vegan restaurant - Edit
The restaurant is just a hole in the wall with maybe 20 seats. The menu is limited but has variety. Typical Thai menu with photos of the food.

Nice cute place on north Chaweng road :-) The HappyCow location of the place is not exactly correct! Its opposite the Anantara Lavana hotel! Friendly stuff, great vegan food, just hard to stop eating there))) You should try their deserts!

Very friendly people and free wifi.
