surprisingly small

I was a bit confused when I walked in here. I expected a health food store with small cafe inside, it was more like a cafe with a limited grocery range. The Harvest Cafe takes up most more than 2/3 of the floor space. Still, we managed to find everything we needed. The fresh organic produce was delicious. We picked up a slice of peanut butter chocolate tart from the desert case and OMG! We couldn’t believe how silky, smooth, rich, and decadent it was - a real winner. Their salads looked delicious too, especially the vibrant purple beetroot and buckwheat. I’d stop in again for lunch in the cafe.

Pros: good quality fresh produce, delicious deserts

Cons: limited range

I knew they were on the same premises coz I’d walked past before. You’re right though, the listings are confusing, especially since the description of DHF&O mentions it has a juice bar inside. I was mostly surprised at the cafe is actually quite large and the store quite small. I expected it to be the other way around. Or at least half/ half. Only because that’s what you usually see in these kind of places. 🤷🏻‍♂️

By the way… have you noticed that HC hasn’t been processing new listings or edits? I submitted a couple over the past month or so. For Knocken Joint in Rezza and the second Luke’s Bakery branch in MoPo. Maybe they were rejected. But compared to a lot of places listed on the app, I reckon they’re super vegan friendly!

Fabulous for a picnic while visiting the area

We love this place, we always grab some vegan yummies, cheeses etc and get ourselves organised for a picnic.

Pros: Great choice, Big Store, Always something vegan for lunch
