Great Vegan Bowls - Edit
I really enjoyed my vegan bowl at the Davidson Ice House. I picked my own ingredients from a large selection. Really nice owner and knowledgeable staff.

Good food but disappointed - Edit
The food is really good. There are plenty of options for vegetarian/vegan. However, I paid $20 for a bowl plus drink plus tip. I thought that was a bit much and then look up at sanitation of a 94 and was shocked. I would not have ordered had I seen that prior. I can’t justify paying $20 for one meal ( certainly nothing fancy!) and the sanitation be a 94.

The food is consistently good and there are options for everyone. We enjoy the Vegan Viking and Vegan Tree Hugger bowls. Davidson Ice house was actually an ice house. The exposed brick and ice house decor adds to the atmosphere

Lots of options for everyone - Edit
I really liked this place and will definitely be back. The possibilities are endless and there are lots of things for every eater. They have a vegan bowl you can order from the menu (the Vegan Viking is killer) or you can create your own from a huge list of toppings. The space is really cool and it has a nice front porch. There's also kombucha on tap and they are doing burgers now (impossible burger and real meat options).

We love love love this place! It’s great to bring Omni friends and family as there is food for everyone! They have tons of options and everything is completely customizable. Love their vegan chopped chicken and they just started serving the impossible burger as well. Also love that everything is marked on the menu if it’s vegan which is so appreciated. They do have vegan/ gluten free donuts usually as well, they aren’t my favorite but my husband likes them!

Such a cool concept! - Edit
I love a good bowl and this place did not disappoint. We got the vegan version of the Tree hugger bowl over greens (swap vegan chicken for mushrooms) and it was spectacular. The flavors perfectly complemented each other and it was an excellent portion size! Love the concept and that everything was labeled.

Love this place and the owner is so friendly! She heard I was vegan and ran to get me some of the tomato basil soup. Just get it without the parmesan and it is vegan! They also have vegan donuts available now, I’ve tried 2/3 and let me tell you they do not disappoint. The food is always good and you get quite a bit of it so you will be full for hours. So many options are vegan and it says right on the menu what’s vegan and what’s not.

Great Addition to the Davidson Scene - Edit
The Icehouse has many vegetarian and plant based options. Their build your own grains bowls are full of variety to choose from (grains, greens, veggies, hummus, variety of sauces). They are filling and delicious. Open for both lunch and dinner. Service is very good and friendly, staff knowledgeable if you need help deciding. My new go to lunch spot. I would rate it a 5 but can’t because not totally vegan. A must try for lunch.
