Very nice & kind atmosphere

I enjoyed my black bean burger and snowball here. It is a New Orleans style restaurant so there aren't as many options. However, the owner was very kind and personable.
Also, it was pleasant to hear that the ice cream they serve in their stuffed snowballs is dairy free.

Pros: The kind & accommodating staff, The dairy free ice cream

Cons: Nothing

Great spot if you’re tired of Fast food!

Cute spot with good food if you’re tired of the traditional fast food places! Ordered the Vegan chicken Po Boy and the Vegan chicken Po Boy and a side of fries!
We received two regular vegan chicken po Boy’s which isn’t that big of a deal. Food was good, but unfortunately because they don’t have vegan Mayo was a little dry.
Fries were top notch!
Definitely would go back!
Wish I could give 3.8 stars, 3s not enough

Pros: Cool vibe , Fries were delicious

Cons: No vegan mayo, Wrong order

Awesome little spot!

I had the beyond meat po boy with an order of fries and it was great. It’s a struggle going out of town and trying to find things to eat other than french fries so it was refreshing to order an actual sandwich. Just make sure to say no mayo if you order a po boy. Also had a sno ball for dessert and that was amazing!

Quick bite to eat but only if you like morning star brand.

More variety and maybe not microwave the Pattie’s

Pros: Quick

Cons: Only 3 options , Morning star brand

Highly satisfied!

Not an entirely vegan place, but the vegan options are really good. The girl that took my order made sure to check and double check for me which of the vegetarian options were also vegan & I really appreciated that. She even gave me my own copy of the menu with them underlined. I ordered 2 po boys: buffalo chicken & Beyond burger; no complaints on either. I just wish they also had vegan mayo

Cons: No vegan mayo

Veg friendly

It’s a small Cajun style restaurant which you wouldn’t think would be vegan friendly but they are. And the staff knows the difference between vegetarian and vegan. We live close and come fairly regularly. It’s always good and everyone is always nice. Definitely recommend.

Pros: Beyond meat patty!, Multiple vegetarian patty options

They have the Beyond burger now!

We were a little worried about being served the vegetarian patty instead of the vegan one, so we were pleasantly surprised to see the beyond burger on the menu! You can either do a 6 inch hoagie which is one patty, or a 9 inch hoagie which comes with two. The snow cones were awesome too! Just beware flirty cashiers that are attracted to compassionate men, my boyfriend was subjected to a pair of doe eyes and some "oh, I wish I could be vegan, but I could never give up cheese!" comments, which was mildly annoying, but worth the food tbh.

Pros: Beyond burger, Hoagie buns look homemade and taste very fresh

Cons: Hard to find, it's located just past the Chevron, Not much parking and pretty busy

Vegan options available

I came for the vegan chicken sandwich I read about in the comments. When I first arrived I was worried because the one I saw on the menu was a non-vegan Morningstar patty. Fortunately they did have a vegan Boca patty available. The bread that the sandwich was on and the Cajun-style fries were very good! The Sno-Ball was great, too (I had Tiger's Blood).

Pros: Delicious food, Vegan options, Owner is a vegetarian, staff is great

Cons: Few options for vegans, Vegan options not well advertised, Serve meat, dairy, and egg products

quick & convenient southern comfort items

Came here from the beach 30 min before closing (got lost!). Still busy! The customers that night were, like me, tourists on their way out of the area. The food is good quality for a place specializing in snowballs & ice cream. Offers Morningstar patties for vegetarian sandwiches and a vegetarian veggie hotdog. Vegans can order the vegan chicken sandwich (not explicitly listed on the menu) seasoned fries, and choose from a wide array of snowball flavors. The vegan chicken sandwich was a bit dry for my liking; the patty seemed a little tough, and it was served on po'boy (French) bread, without sauce. Comes with lettuce & tomato, but there's a toppings bar with typical sandwich veggies/condiments. Fries were okay. Not a huge fan of sweet tea, but it was pretty good here. What REALLY stood out was the staff's friendliness/helpfulness. My server went out of her way to recommend me to Lotus Cafè (up the street, but closed on Sundays), and one employee greeted us all and wished us well on our way out as the closed. The only drawback is that this place is veryyy hard to find if you don't know the area. Used my maps feature and got brought into a neighborhood near a Chevron. Heads up: it's in a strip mall next to the Chevron. All in all a good place for inexpensive southern-style veg options and awesome service.

Pros: inexpensive, comfort food

Cons: hard to find
