I ordered the burger and it was the best vegan burger I’ve ever had. They make their buns, burgers, and sauce from scratch - so so yummy! If you have time to spare, stop by to get a good meal.

The people taking the orders may not know everything in the dish. Their payment system has a problem recording food allergies. However, the kitchen staff was super awesome about remaking the dish. And it was delicious!

cute spot completely dairy free but they serve eggs and chicken. can sub tempeh to make stuff vegan with what i was assured was a soy based mayo. tempeh club sandwich and cabbage slaw were very good. my husband got a veggie burger wrap with was very good but the multi grain chips were just ok. would def go back to try an açaí bowl as they looked amazing.

My husband and I loved the breakfast here so much, we made a repeat visit the following day. The breakfast bagel with tempeh is delicious, filling, and the perfect way to start a busy day being a tourist! Also enjoyed the breakfast wrap with tempeh and absolutely loved the matcha latte with coconut milk!

Tasty Tempeh Wraps - Edit
Date and Thyme had several vegan options. I enjoyed a Tempe club sandwich in a whole wheat wrap with carrot bacon, and some kind of yummy dressing. Altogether it was super delicious. I enjoyed eating outside on their covered patio with the roosters.

We stayed in the hostel right next to Date & Thyme and had our morning iced latte here:) lovely cafe with lots of vegan options on the menue. A little shop/market is included and they have nice outsite seating.

Food was amazing. At first entrance it seems to be more of a store and we were kind of confused whether you could order food or not but they have quite an extensive made-to-order menu. They don’t use dairy in their kitchen at all but they do have menu items with eggs and chicken. But it sounds like almost every item that isn’t vegan on the menu can be veganized. I got the jerk wrap and did not regret it at all. Husband got the açaí bowl and it was huge. They also have a display case of baked goods that I wish I could have sampled. I was too full. Not every item in the case is usually vegan (some have egg) but when we were there, every single item was vegan so I was drooling. Also have a few of their menu items as grab-and-go from their refrigerated case which would be worth a try.

Mostly vegan options. Lots of grab and go stuff which was great because I really wanted something fresh. We got some salads, drinks, and sweets. I couldn’t seem to make it there before 2 so I could order off the menu-the wraps sounded so good! But they had vegan homemade cookies, Justin’s cups, real brand treats, smoothies and coffee. The outdoor seating was adorable. Just a cute place. We went twice! Always a joy to find a place like this.

I swear this was the only place I could find with an açaí bowl but it was good! They have a lot of cool vegan snacks and supplies in that I’ve never seen before. Unfortunately when I went back the second time the kitchen was already closed but I got a grab and go pasta salad was really good as well.

Smoothies and gluten free vegan breakfast options. Served quick. Friendly staff. Best part is their pre made refrigerated food options to go. Everything was clearly marked as to if it was vegan, gluten free etc. Dragon tofu was my favorite.

Date & Thyme is a regular stop on our annual Key West trip, and our food always is good. Choose carefully because although many menu items are vegetarian or vegan, there also are some meat or seafood options mixed in. Nonetheless, there are plenty of vegan options, and we’re always happy with our choices.

Wish I could give this place 5 stars! Only a few cafe items have tuna, chicken, or egg, otherwise the menu is vegan. I had the tempeh wrap with a side salad and iced oat milk matcha latte. They were super delicious and refreshing on a hot day. I also bought packages of the pasta salad and tofu cashew dip - both were excellent!

I had the breakfast bagel with tempeh and it was perfect! It tasted delicious. Also, I had the purple jungle smoothie and both were 🤤🤤. The to-go containers and straws were all compostable!
Read moreThere were also a lot of fruits and vegetables, and other organic and vegan snacks & drinks for sale. We ended up getting a bag of grapes to keep in our hotel room.
There is covered seating outdoors. I liked the overall decor inside and outside.
I definitely plan to go back others days of my trip on Key West.
UPDATE: Before we left Key West my husband and I came back for our same orders again to take with us on the road…it was equally delicious and a great decision 😋…definitely will come back next time I’m in Key West.
