Not impressed

I love the Coronado and wanted to try the coffee shop for quite some time. The interior is inviting, dark but hip and fun. Very clean and the staff was friendly. The outside patios were awesome!
Coffee was different w an odd after taste but I liked it more so to support a vegan shop. The flattened snickerdoodle cookie was alright but tasted on its way out with a bit of staleness and lack of freshness. Unfortunately on my way out, I noticed an “ACAB” sticker…..I will never go bac

Pros: Vegan, Different , Inviting w awesome patios

Cons: Weird after taste, Staleness, ACAB

Lavender Shortbread!

We’ve had a couple lattes so far and both were unique flavors. The black mocha is really yummy and rich

The lavender shortbread is amazing! Melts in the mouth. Hope they make this one often

Pros: Atmosphere, Shortbread, Homemade coffee syrups

Cons: Slightly pricey

A Love Letter to Dark Hall

I only have amazing things to rave about when it comes to Dark Hall Coffee. All the drinks, but especially seasonal selections, are divine. No matter your mood- from a bright brown sugar lemonade to the most jaw dropping pumpkin spice latte this girl has ever had- you’ll find something to match your energy with Dark Hall! The staff is kind, informative, and attentive. The decor, music and ambiance cannot be beat. The beautiful outdoor seating is dog friendly. The food choices are flavorful and plenty! From veganized savory quiches to thick cookies to tarts to cake, they seriously have it all! Whether you’re local to the area or you’re on an adventure for the best of the best when it comes to vegan spots, Dark Hall is an S tier pick!

Pros: Amazing coffee & food , Amazing staff , Amazing ambiance

Great Drinks

I had a cold brewed hibiscus tea and it was great! It’s got a wonderful atmosphere. I don’t know if I will have a chance to try the pastries but the all looked scrumptious. Edit: I returned and tried their coffee some pastries and their quiche, all of which were FANTASTIC!

Great Pastries

When we stopped in there was an entire vegan cake, vegan mini cakes, coffee cake slices, a variety of cookies, and other pastries available made fresh and plant based. Friendly, fast, clean service

Delicious coffee and unique treats!

We stopped in while waiting for a table at The Coronado to have brunch. They were very busy, but you can order a snack to eat while they get to your drink order (I got an Americano). Loved the vibe and will definitely be back if in the area 💚

Pros: So much to choose from, cool, artsy, space , outdoor seating

Perfect

I’ve been obsessed with this spot from afar, finally visited and did not disappoint! Such beautiful and delicious pastries, unique beverages. I love the aesthetic of this shop, it’s very hip with nice outdoor seating in the front and back. They do not offer drip coffee just espresso drinks FYI.

Pros: Aesthetic, Pastries , Hours

10/10 Recommend

Another place that has ruined my life because their coffee and baked goods were SO good. Loved the variety of baked goods that included cookies, cake, scones, and a shortbread cookie which can be harder to find. Their baked goods were different the next day which I really appreciated. I ordered a hazelnut latte and it was seriously the best latte I’ve ever had!

Ps. Bonus credits for the decors and general vibe

Pros: loads of vegan options

Cons: I don’t have a place like this near home!

Fresh and delightful

Oh my word. We got one of not quite everything but definitely a lot of the things and they were all AMAZING. Fresh-baked, light, super yummy. Good coffee. Super nice people. I’m just in awe of the variety of things they turned out instead of the grudging “we got a bagel that might not have milk in it, no vegan toppings” that I’m used to. 😁 My only complaint is that they don’t have this where I live.

Pros: Everything in the case was vegan, Everything is delicious , Fun atmosphere, love the outdoor seating

Best vegan bakery!

This bakery never disappoints, I've been here several times now, and everything from the unique and high quality baked goods, to the coffee drinks, to its welcoming atmosphere is all top notch. It can get pricey due to everything being so good here, and I wished it stayed open later but apparently they're experimenting with that. And it's nicely located centrally in Phoenix. Decent amount of parking

Pros: All vegan, Great atmosphere, Unique and amazing

Cons: Can get expensive , Closes early

Full case of delicious vegan pastries. From cake to cinnamon rolls to scones to cookies.

I got the pistachio galette and the chocolate chip coconut scone. Both were fresh and flavorful.

Creat place to chill and work on work or writing.

Iced coffee

We came here to get iced coffees and a vegan pastry. Since it was in the afternoon the pastry selection was pretty low but we did try a shortcake cookie and a macaroon. We both liked the shortcake cookies the best. Nothing wrong with the macaroon just our preference.

We are looking for a coffee shop with comfortable seating. This isn't it but it is nice to have a vegan cafe.

They also own The Coronado restaurant.

Pros: All vegan items., Friendly staff.

Cons: No comfortable seating inside., Outside seating looks out at the parking lot., The decor is for younger customers.

Great little coffee shop

Really cool vibe. The coffee is good and I love their house blend non dairy milk. They always have good bakery items (honestly best vegan ones I've had but I don't typically eat that type of stuff). The cookies and gallettes are my favorite. Not a ton of seating. I usually get mine to go on my way to work anyway.

Pros: Coffee , Cookies

Cons: On the expensive side but still reasonable

Love the baked goods

I really like the coffee at Dark Hall, but their vegan baked goods really set them apart. The scones, crumb cake, palmiers, and chocolate chip cookies are some of my favs. I really wish they would make croissants because I know they would be bomb, and I would go HAM on that.
