One of the best pizza spots in Seattle - Edit
I absolutely adore the vegan pizza at Dantini!! While certainly not primarily a vegan spot, the vegan cheese (a nice tofu ricotta - not yr standard stick-to-teeth vegan mozz!) is made in house and there's usually (perhaps always?) a vegan special on the menu (though it doesn't rotate very frequently). It's also one of the only pizza places (or restaurants in general) I have ever seen that charges you less for the vegan option.
Read moreThe crust here is top notch -- you can easily tell and taste the quality of dough they're making and the flour they're using. Always has a good amount of char, always crisp where it should be, always great.
They can make the breadsticks vegan if you ask by omitting the cheese (though I wish they'd slap a thin coat of that tofu ricotta on 'em or something).
Seeing the vegetarian and meat specials posted on IG would sometimes give me option envy -- fun seasonal veg, yummy sounding sauce drizzles, etc. But whenever one of the toppings that makes up the specials is vegan (rapini & broccolini! shishitos! cilantro salsa verde!) they've been happy to top a vegan pie custom, just order over the phone/in person.
Love that they offer toasted sesame seeds alongside the standard red chili flakes!! Toasted sesame on pizza is sooo good and I cannot believe I'd never seen or thought of it before. Do yourself a favor and get the lil side cup of sesame (sorry to all those with a sesame allergy!)
Wish there were a vegan salad option here though !

Their vegan pizzas feature dollops of house-made ricotta that’s better than the best vegan mozz, imo. I got a byo w/garlic confit + pickled serrano + Castelvetrano olives + it packed hella flavor on a wonderfully crispy crust.

Don’t recommend the salad - it relies heavily on dressing (always has dairy) and not many toppings, so it’s basically just overpriced kale.
