Dandy’s has several vegan signature icecreams: coconut ash honeycomb (does not contain honey! "Honeycomb" described the appearance of the sponge toffee), toasted coconut, and salted chocolate caramel brookie. They have a vegan gf cone. As well, they serve tea and coffee with milk alternatives. They have several seasonal flavours too. Ask to see their Vegan menu (gluten-free options are labelled). Sauces and toppings include vegan chocolate sauce, spiced pecans, coconut whip, orange vanilla peanuts, coffee sauce, berry sauce, and whiskey hazelnuts. An excellent choice is their custom sundae. For milkshakes, they have oat or coconut milk. They also have kombucha float and affogato.

I would give this place zero stars if that was a possibility. I went once and ordered a vegan cone and was given a paper cup; maybe that is supposed to be funny?! When I asked what flavors were vegan one of the ones I was told was vegan had honey in it so I was skeptical they knew what "vegan" means. I had the worst stomach issues that night and the next day so I wonder if whatever I had was not actually vegan. Several months later I decided to go back and give the place a second try. I called 30 minutes before I showed up to ask for a pint to be packed so I could just pick it up. They said it would be 10 minutes and when I showed up 30 minutes later it still wasn't packed. I had the vegan nanaimo bar flavor and there was something throughout the pint that had the consistency of soggy balls of paper; it was awful especially for the price.

The place for those with a sweet tooth - Edit
I had the coconut ash ice cream as a sundae with coconut whipped cream. Quite sweet and very satisfying. The presentation is also very stylish. I also appreciate the fact that they offer a vegan cone option.
