It was good

Nothing memorable but I always appreciate it when restaurants make an effort to include vegan options. I had the vegan wok which was nice but it was basically just rice with a few fried vegetables. It’s a good option if you want to go somewhere central in Dubrovnik old town

Clearly labeled options. We got the gaspachio which was truly amazing and the ratatouille pasta which was also lovely homemade style pasta and it was topped with olives and capers. Staff was friendly and it's in one of the quieter parts of the city, so that was great too!

Brilliant dining experience in a lovely location

An easy vegan dining experience - very thankful for clearly marked vegan options (after days of having to request vegetarian options be amended to become vegan). The waiter was really friendly and welcoming.

I had the asparagus risotto which was delicious and my omni husband also enjoyed his dish, so a win win!

The restaurant is positioned on a lovely street, though, like most outdoor seating in the Old Town it is cramped, so not the most private dining experience.

Pros: Friendly staff, Clearly marked vegan options, Lovely location

Cons: Cramped tables

Dalmatino is a great option for vegans traveling with omnis. They have a clearly marked vegan main menu, and other options are clearly labeled throughout, including sides, starter, and dessert. I had the vegan risotto and it was fantastic. The rest of my companions had non-vegan dishes but agreed they were absolutely delicious. It is the only restaurant we all agreed we would return to here in Dubrovnik.

Pros: Clearly labeled vegan options , Delicious food for everyone

Cons: Higher price than other restaurants in the area

Great pasta

My husband and I stopped here for dinner and tried two of the vegan pasta options. Everything is clearly labeled on the menu and there were at least three pastas to choose from, among other dishes like soup, sides, and desserts. We both really liked our dishes and enjoyed conversation with others sitting ont he patio. It was a great experience!

Great vegan options

Never seen so many vegan mains options, I mean proper vegan dishes too not ones you have to veganise! I had the Croatian lentils stew dish with bread & dipping oils. Very tasty & super quick service. There were at least 2 or 3 other appealing vegan options there too. Don’t think you’ll find a better place than this in the old town for vegan food.

Pros: Lots of vegan options , Lovely decor & surrounds , Can eat inside or out. Great service.

Cons: Didn’t notice many vegan desserts

When I say never seen so many vegan options, I mean as in the standard restaurant in Croatia of course!

Menu has changed too since last photos people took on here. The lentil stew is now a dish & I think a couple of the others have changed too. Also, sadly the vegan panacotta doesn’t seem to be there anymore writhed

Solid vegan option available. This is also a great place to dine with a non-vegan and keep them happy while you are able to enjoy a tasty vegan meal. I absolutely loved the veggies included with the entrée. The polenta and meat substitute were really good but I felt they could have been more flavorful … this was nothing salt couldn’t fix though. I definitely would eat at this restaurant again.

Way too pricey

The portions were relatively small and the caponata was basically zucchini, very boring texture.

For the price of the items I would have expected way more.

Good dinner option in a not so vegan friendly city!

Not amazing but we enjoyed the pasta. Friendly staff. They have a separate vegan section on the menu with a few vegan dishes.

Amazing food. The vegan delight patty was so delicious! It was served with wok veggies and a delicate polenta. The vegetable ragu was made with homemade pasta. Lovely texture. Service was also fantastic. Probably our favorite meal of the trip.

Nice food, but small portions

Vegan options clearly market, food was nice, but for the price portions were too little. After starter and main dish we were still little hungry...

Amazing vegan panna cotta

We tried their pasta as well as their homemade panna cotta which was out of this world! I really recommend paying a visit when in Dubrovnik!

Best food we had in Croatia

We visited for my mums 60th birthday, my family aren’t vegan so it was great to find somewhere that they were happy with as well as somewhere myself and partner could also enjoy a proper meal! We didn’t get a starter, from memory there was just gazpacho but 3 options for vegan mains, we both went for the Ragu which was delirious. I had the panna cotta also which was amazing. Cocktails were also great, service was pleasant and its definitely one of the fancier places to eat (by decor and vibe) our whole party cleared their plates - vegans and meat eaters alike. They also make a show of their creme brûlée (non vegan) with a blowtorch at the table and have some smoky cocktails that are made at the table too which was fun to watch and definitely added to the experience

Expensive but tasty!

Their vegan ragu dish was brilliant and made with traditional pasta. Points for having a vegan starter and vegan dessert option aswell.

Lovely 3 course meal in old town

Was unsure of what to expect based on previous reviews however found all courses delicious. Staff were very tentative. Would recommend.

Pros: Vegan options including dessert

Cons: Serves meat/fish , One option for starter

Fine but not remarkable

Friendly staff, gazpacho starter, vegan ragu for main and coconut milk panna cotta for dessert were filling, even though the portion sizes weren't massive. Not entirely sure traditional Croatian food is reflected by the vegan options at least, but it was somewhere to grab a full three course meal. Not on the cheap side of the spectrum.

Pros: Vegan starter, option of mains and one dessert, Friendly staff

Cons: Vegan options didn't feel very Croatian, Not cheap

5* @ Dalmatino

They had 4 main vegan/vegetarian meals, which was more than other restaurants in Dubrovnik. I’ve had Gazpacho tomato soup as a starter, Truffle/ porcini with homemade pasta (no eggs) as a main course and shared raw cake “Lokrum” . Also took a bite from my friend’s vegan patty plate. All was delicious, staff friendly. Would recommend Dalmatino!

Pros: Very tasty , Several vegan/ vegetarian options , Helpful staff

2 vegane Optionen

Es gab zwei vegane Optionen als Hauptgericht, die in der Karte so gekennzeichnet sind. Ich hatte das vegane Ragu. Die Portion war in Ordnung und geschmacklich war es auch gut.

Tasty options

There are not many options in these restaurant, but the pasta with tofu we tried was simply wonderful. It was handmade by their chef in house and al dente. One of the best dinners we had in town

Pros: Delicious, In the heart of town

Cons: Expensive, Not many options

Very expensive!!

To be fair, this seemed like a fine dining place, so I suppose the prices make sense from that point. I got the noodles with the sausage and teriyaki sauce. It was really nice but not nice enough to justify 148 kuna!!! Portion size wasn't that big either. Pic included.

Pros: Tasty and clearly labelled vegan

Cons: Expensive

Great place for mixed company

Just along from nishta but if you have non vegans then it’s worth it. The hemp pasta was gorgeous and really filling-good size portions. Double check about the pasta as the waiter we had clearly didn’t know about vegans but checked with the chef. It does state on the menu that it’s vegan tho.
