For one reason of another, I went here almost every day of my trip. The best thing about this restaurant is the atmosphere. A chill oasis where you can recharge body, mind and phone haha. Many digital nomads on laptops. There are outlets by every table. Amazing staff speaks English and Spanish. Like many places in the country, they build the restaurant around the trees❤️. I love this. They make a hole in the roof where the tree pops through. So if you get the right table, while you're eating you can earth by touching a tree. It's heaven.

Food is good. Get the corn tortillas, they're mad in-house and are outstanding. Likewise the sweet plantains are delicious! Caters to the gringo palate so flavors are plain. They need chilero nica on the table for those like me who want more flavor and spice.
Unlike the restaurants by the ocean, you can eat your meal without being approached by street vendors and adorable, sweet neighborhood children wanting money and the food on your plate. How do you say no to these kids all with such beautiful spirits? I could not. But if u give them money does this rob them of their childhood by encouraging their parents to work them this way? I'd see the mothers dispatching their kids on the crowds. It's for you to decide.
I found a way to give to the kids by carry around a sack of healthy snacks and crayons, paper and toys. Give this to the children. This way I knew the children were benefiting directly.
One small way to give back to the community is to take a trash bag and pick trash out of the gutters in the street to the side of the restaurant. At night you can hear the frogs singing from the gutters. Help give them and the neighborhood a cleaner environment.

I had the falafel plate, which is actually a starter, as a main dish and was positively surprised. The falafel came with three vegan dips (hummus, tahin, and spicy third one) and pita bread and was accompanied by a little salad.

We loved our food and drinks here and came back to celebrate New Years 2024. Vegan options are clearly marked and the quality is top-notch. We met the owner and he prides himself on attention to detail, quality ingredients and great service. Note: I ordered my vegan chipotle salad off the pop-up menu. They offer a no-charge black bean patty substitute to all their burgers and they offer the SOS Vegan Brownie where 100% of the proceeds go to support the local “sos animales” project.

I had the quinoa salad bowl, it was okay, and the vegan brownie which I wouldn't recommend. It just wasn't good and that was a bummer. Prices are very high which was confusing. There are a couple vegan options on the menu and the staff have a good understanding of veganism and were happy to double check the ingredients of the sauce for me. Friendly staff, pretty nice space.

Went there because I was craving a burger, unfortunately they did not have any vegan burger😒but they had quite some other vegan options which were all marked as such on their menu😄we all had some special requests which they were happy to help us with. I ended up with the falafel plate and I got hummus instead of the cilantro sauce because I am one of these people 🙈. The pita was amazing and so was the little salad and the sauces. The falafel balls themselves were very different from what I know. They were very, very soft, almost liquid on the inside. I didn't really like them but I don't want to give a bad review for my personal taste :). I'm sure, many people love them! The atmosphere was amazing. It is such a lovely place. Would definitely go back and try something else. They even have a vegan brownie!
