Great Soy Milk

Sadly there where no vegan sweets so I took an Matcha soymilk and a tofu instead (since I came back from a hike and was really hungry). While I kinda liked the tofu the soy milk was really good. The staff was also friendly and one of the ladies talked good english and knew about vegan diet.

Pros: English speaking staff who knows about vegan diet

Cons: No vegan sweets

Hitz the spot

After a hike to the summit and back there was nothing else better then a matcha soy ice cream and tofu dessert to cool down to . Just Delicious. There’s a free massage chair upstairs and foot bath outside to chill and relax with your treats. Didn’t try but upstairs there is also a fresh “all you can eat” tofu plate.

Incredible Tofu

We came to the Daisen area only because we heard about the Buddhist burger at Tenguchaya, and even though I had confirmed the hours ahead of time, we walked all the way up to only find a sign saying the cafe was closed that day.
Quite hungry, as we had been looking forward to a delicious lunch, we were lucky to see this soy milk shop and got a yuzu tofu, sesame tofu, two little soy packets and two spoons to fuel up until we found some more food later on. Truly incredible tofu!!
Be careful, as a lot of the sweets are not vegan, as they could contain milk or gelatin.
I really wish I could give it more stars, but I really don't like that they couldn't manage to make a good variety of vegan sweets.
