Lots of options! - Edit
We loved this place which has both dairy and vegan options. I don’t recall seeing an ice cream place with so many vegan options. Soft serve and a number of different hard scoop choices. Sizes are huge (even if you get a kiddie or small size it will be a lot). They have walk up and drive thru ordering options. It’s outdoors only with a decent amount of seating available.

Probably the best of all similar Michigan ice cream stores. If you never leave Michigan (for ice cream :D) this is your 4 star happy place.

They have a great vegan selection, and their serving sizes are massive. They've even added vegan cookies for ice cream sandwiches! I enjoy their soft serve, which is a unique find, though it does have an interesting flavor. Have yet to try an vegan option here I haven't liked. But they're a bit pricey!

their hard scoop vegan ice creams are quite delish, especially the oat milk ones.

however i was very excited for their blizzard-esq mix and the option for girl scout cookies thin mint, the only vegan gsc, but instead found myself given a mix with crushed oreos and andes mints.
definetly not vegan mints might i add, and boy did i feel that dairy- ughh.
essentially i'd recommend staying away from their blizzards and the mix ins, you never know what they're gonna think is an acceptable substitution without telling you.
Pros: good vegan options, delish hard scoop, decent soft serve

Dairy Twist has carried vegan for years, which is pretty impressive around the area! They now carry several flavors of hard serve in addition to their soft serve. They have a separate batch of vegan sprinkles, so make sure you specify. Last time I checked none of the cones were vegan, but this may have changed! Not the most amazing vegan ice cream I’ve had, still so good. LOVE that I can go out easily to get some! The staff is not always knowledgeable about what mix-ins, etc are vegan, so know what questions to ask or play it safe. Their serving sizes are also ridiculously huge, so be prepared for a ton of dessert!

Unexpected gem - Edit
This place is tucked neatly in the small town of Wolverine lake, but probably has the most vegan ice cream options I’ve ever seen at an ice cream place. Definitely not limited to a fruit sorbet either. Would come back for sure!!!

It is so hard to find any vegan ice cream anywhere, let alone in my hometown. They have chocolate and vanilla soft serve as well as a ton of hand scoop options. My favorite ice cream place :)

Vegan Ice Cream on the Menu - Edit
Called ahead to confirm vegan options. They have a soft serve vanilla with flavor burst options and a hand dipped Guernsey Vegan Double Chocolate. I went with the vanilla soft serve and it was quite good, will definitely return to try the double chocolate.
