Best and most diverse vegan menu - Edit
The most vegan options I have found after touring Korea for 2 weeks. Dedicated vegan menu in English is available, also a map with other vegan options in the area.
Read moreThe employee was super nice, asked how spicy I would like the dish, whether I eat egg or not (it's not a 100% vegan place), and suggested that the dishes I took might be too much food for one person.
Everything was tasty and spicy for my liking.
I took a Bulgogi with rice and a sprouts soup

Comfort food with a lovely owner - Edit
The owner is sooooo lovely and sweet!!! The food portions are quite generous and the food was tasty. My favorite dish before going vegan was budaejjigae (army base stew), and her vegan version definitely satisfied my craving! I’ll absolutely be back in the future to try more from the menu.

This is a small place that’s rather quaint and unassuming. The server was incredibly sweet and recommended a map of all the vegan restaurant in Gwangju. I orders the vegan bulgogi with dumplings, cold noodle soup, and spicy noodles. My favorites were the soup and bulgogi. The spicy noodles were so so. She Ben gave me a free beer. I totally recommend this place if you want a cheap, home style meal.

Nice vegan menu for a very affordable price - Edit
The restaurant offers meat, but has a large fully vegan selection. The nice staff speaks good English, she even pointed out to us that the kimchi contains fish sauce. The menu also explicitly states that the dumplings are deep fried in the same oil as meat dishes.

Each table has an English vegan menu available. The menu has changed from some earlier photos online and now offers vegan versions of traditional Korean dishes. We had the vegan dumplings and the hotpot bibimbap — both were delicious. The staff also made sure to ask if we were fully vegan, so they could adjust the side dishes and kimchi accordingly.

Decent place for a cheap lunch - Edit
Nice place for having a cheap lunch in Gwangju! They have a vegan menu with quite a lot of vegan options of Korean 'fast' dishes like soups, bibimbap or soy bulgogi. It can get quite full but it's worth to come, especially because the owner is super kind and the food nice!

Cozy small restaurant, very nice owner - Edit
Has a vegan menu written in English posted on the wall with some korean classic foods. The owner is very nice and adjusted the spiciness of the plant based bulgogi, so I could eat it. The restaurant itself is small and cozy. Prices are on the lower end, but the food is very tasty. Would definitely recommend to eat there.

We had several vegan dishes and all of them were great. Also the owner was very friendly. She even added some great side dishes like vegan kimchi. We had a good time and would come again!

The food was really good, with many options and the lady was really really nice and took great care in explaining me the menu. She does vegan banchan as well, a tofu and vegetables soup and some vegan kimchi.

La chica que atiende es de lo más servicial, me explicó las opciones que tenía, incluso cuáles no eran picantes. Es súper económico y delicioso. Estuvo atenta también a explicar cuál banchan era apto e incluso pasó por la mesa a preguntar si la sopa estaba bien de sal. Experiencia super reconfortante!
