Yum!! - Edit
This is such a great stop for lunch or picking something up thats not from a restaurant. The falafel pitta is huge and pretty cheap! Based on previous reviews I ordered the green falafel with hummus and tahini sauce (all vegan) and it was delish! The only con is lack of seating - I was lucky as no one else was there when I visited, but with plenty of seating around the palace walls (just round the corner) it isn't something to be put off by at all. Definitely planning another next visit before leaving Split. Love it!

Only one choice, but super yum - Edit
While there's only one vegan option, their falafel is really good. When you tell the staff you’re vegan, they know that you’ll have the green falafel with hummus (instead of yoghurt) and tahini (instead of aioli). You get a very decent sized portion, with everything served in a fresh pitta bread. For only 45HRK (around €6), it’s pretty good value. They main con is there’s very little seating, but taking it down to the promenade to eat is a great solution.

Good falafel perfectly located in the old town - Edit
Choose the Green Falafel with hummus and not yoghurt sauce and then you have a quick and convenient vegan supper. Portion size was good and quick turnaround. Not very big so more of a take out place than a restaurant.

Filling - Edit
We came here for a light snack and ended up getting two falafels that were big enough for two meals. Their green falafel is vegan, though they have non-vegan versions too (my boyfriend got shrimp falafel, which we'd never heard of), and they're served in a pita that's almost more like a loaf of bread. This made the falafel a bit hard to eat, to be honest. We picnicked in a park and had to go back to the room to clean up after eating half of our falafels and then put the rest in the fridge. To be honest, I think the flavours were better when we finished them up for breakfast the next day. So a good deal, especially if you can get two meals out of it, just expect a dense mouthful. Excellent homemade fries, too.

Good falafel and drinks - Edit
The green falafel is very good. We went in to get one of their fruity drinks (which are so elaborate and delicious by the way) and they had us try the falafel balls. We liked them so much we came back for dinner. The falafel itself is amazing. The tahini and hummus both need more salt. The pita isn’t a pita in the traditional sense but I really liked it because the bread was tasty and held everything inside instead of falling apart. My boyfriend disagrees. It’s a good place to get lunch!

Hipster falafel - Edit
Stopped here for a late evening falafel. Really enjoyed the falafel (which was big enough for two if you're not too hungry). It's a bar/takeaway setup rather than eat-in really.

Me and my friend went back here three days in a row it was that good. The staff remembered our faces too! You can order the green falafel with hummus and tahini and honestly the amount you get, oh my it fills you up for hours! And it’s cheap too!! Would rate 5* if I could but not allowed due to not fully vegan!
