Nice food

Enjoyable dinner in the market hall in Basel. 2 vegan options, I went for a vegetable curry which was very tasty and considering Swiss prices, was ok value. The women running the stall was super rude tho. There are plenty of vegan options in the market hall so have a look around here. Dabbawalas is a good feed though.

Excellent option for Vegetarians

The food and variety was really good. Thali is absolute value if you are very hungry. Can attest that food does taste home cooked. Can confirm that they do take card.

Pros: Authentic taste, Thali is value

Cons: Menu on website isn't always correct

Yummy but not cheap

Very friendly to explain vegetarian and vegan options. This food stand is inside the Markthalle. Tasty but not cheap.

Big surprise

Although a very limited menu - it does change every day- the food was excellent -very typical south Indian. Best value-simply a traditional Talli plate which gives you a taste of everything on the menu and is easily enough food for a straightforward meal. Its not a restaurant, just an eatery in a food market but really the food is good and the big surprise-by Swiss standards its cheap.
Recommend trying it out but strange opening hours

Pros: tasty, value for money

Cons: limited menu, not open every evening-mainly lunches
