best carrot cake I've ever had - Edit
Nice and cosy restaurant, we had the weed burger which is always a good choice but also a safe and familiar one for the burger loving vegans. Nevertheless I had to write a review because I just have to take a moment to give a shout out to the carrot cake. Best one I've ever had, including non-vegan ones. This proves once again that plants are all you need :) the texture and the taste were really amazing. I live quite far away but I will definitely come back to enjoy this moment of pure joy again!

Cute little place with tasty appetizers, burgers and cakes! - Edit
We went there on the Christmas eve night and unfortunately they didn't have the set menu (every saturday usually) and only burgers. Nevertheless the appetizers (Bruschetta and cheese & dip - 6 ppl shared 2 of each kind) and burgers (think we ordered all kinds) were all very tasty! I especially liked the homemade pesto + mozzarella combination on the bruschetta. The Dutch weed burger was nice too (a bit salty for me) but the McCartney burger was my favorite. The patty on McCartney didn't look special on the first sight but turned out to be very well seasoned and perfectly chewy & juicy.
Their dessert was all super delicious but personally the carrot cake (Worteltaart) was the best! It is less sweeter than the other cakes (we tried carrot cake, pear cake, raw chocolate cake, and apple pie.. ordered them for Christmas lunch) but had a perfect texture and fresh taste! Apple pie (Appeltaart) was also very tasty and others were good too.
Seems like they also have a b&b and various event (cooking classes, concerts etc) that I would love to go back again soon! Also would like to try their 3 course dinner menu (22.5 Euro) and sandwiches and wraps (only available for lunch) so I guess we'll have to go back multiple times...
Pros: Tasty burgers, appetizers, desserts..., Friendly staff
Cons: not so cheap

very cosy place with great food! - Edit
Daantje never dissapoints :)
The food is great, they have many options.
I would definitely reccomend one of their wraps, or the tosti.
The have a great place to sit outside at the back.
On Fridays and Saturdays they serve a 3 course meal, different each week.
As people have said before, the location is a bit hidden, but it is still in the middle of the city center and definitely worth it to go there!
Pros: great food!

Perfect cosy vegan place - Edit
Found this little restaurant on this website, and i loved it!
They have a table next to toys and books for kids, so my little boy could play while we were eating a delicious vegan wrap (and i had a spicy ginger drink, really nice!). The atmosphere is peaceful and quiet, really good after a couple of hours shopping in the city of Dordrecht.
The owner is really nice, explains a lot and her kindness makes it also worth a visit :). For those who want to stay overnight; they have a bed&breakfast upstairs, how perect can it be?!
Will be back soon!
Pros: Excellent vegan food, Very friendly staff, Nice and cosy vibe
Cons: nit in a busy area, so easy to miss :(, No daiper-cleaning table in the toilets

Best place to eat in Dordrecht! - Edit
Very nice owner, good food and nice and cozy atmosphere. If you have children, they also have toys (and I think books?) for them.
Its been a while since I've been there because we moved but the last time we visited I had a delicious tomato-bellpepper soup with bread and carrot cake, and one time before a tasty couscous salad. And if you don't like a specific ingredient of a dish they always try to figure out a substitute.

Good food, Excellent service! - Edit
The place is very nice. It has a cute outside sitting. The staff was very kind! soup and pie were tasty. Unfortunely, they don't make their own burgers so it feels a bit industrial and that's a shame because all the sauces they do make were great!

Very tasty apple pie! - Edit
Nice vegan place at nice location.
I started with a "milk" shake, which was basic (banana, strawberries and almond milk), but nice.
Then I had soup of the day, which was tasty.
The McCartney burger was not really my thing, but fries and vegan mayo were delicious.
Apple pie was a star of a day.
All in all, not bad experience at all, but for sure not the best vegan place I've ever been to.
Pros: Location, Ambience
Cons: Pricey

Tasty food in historic ambiance - Edit
I've been there a number of times and was never disappointed by the food. It's all fresh and tasty, 100% vegan, and the restaurant is in a historic 16th century building right in the center of Dordrecht, including summer outdoor seating in the backyard. Daantje is a real darling, making sure that all customers are happy and leave satisfied. She offers soups, salads, sandwiches, wraps and burgers, but also delicious homemade vegan pastry. From November 2015 on her restaurant is also open in the evenings on Fridays and Saturdays, when you can get a delicious multi-course dinner. Certainly the best choice for vegans in Dordrecht!
Pros: tasty, great service, beautiful ambience

Absolutely worth visiting - Edit
This new vegan lunch location has a lot to offer; of course the Dutch Weed Burger but the other choices are worth trying, I have tasted every kind of wrap (4) and loved them all! My friend loved it too and she is lucky because she libes in Dordrecht. Will come here back with my bike and the waterbus from Rotterdam. Don't miss it!
Pros: great menu, liovely owners, nice place

Delicious food and great service! - Edit
So happy to find this great little cafe in Dordrecht. The owner was very friendly. My BB King sandwich was delicious and the Pilsner a perfect thirst quencher. Can't wait to go back.

Great new vegan lunchroom - Edit
This was my first visit and I will certainly return! The staff was friendly, the food was served quite fast. They have outdoor seating in front of and at the back of the lunchroom. I had a typical hot Dutch snack, a saucijzen broodje: puff pastry with minced nuts instead of minced meat. It was delicious! I also had a wrap with 'chicken' style curry and salad. The menu in the lunchroom and on the website is only in Dutch.
Pros: Friendly staff, Outside seating

Quaint location! - Edit
In the historical centre of Hollands oldest city we have Daantje. An old building on a rustig cobbled streeft.
Inside the atmosphere is clean and pure. Outside seating is available, but due to the narrowness of the street, no sun :(.
The food is vegan organic and simple yet nourishing. They even serve the infamous WeedBurger! (Dutch innovative project using seaweed as a meat alternative).
The staff is friendly and happy to elaborate on the menu.
Wine and beer is available, but the children's corner and menu will keep the little ones busy too.
All in all the perfect place to try some real old "Dutchness" (you can almost spit on the birthplace of the Dutch parliament, no kidding!), but with a modern vegan twist.

Great apple pie - Edit
The first vegan lunchroom Dordrecht ever had I think. Nice, cozy restaurant. The food is good, portions moderate but so are the prices. The 'saucijzenbroodje' (sausage-roll??), the apple pie and the wrap with chickpeas/pickles/seaweed were really good. The carrot pie was too soft but maybe next time this pie will be great too. And there certainly will be a next time!
Pros: cozy place, apple pie :-)
