Compared to the other DaTerra I went to this one was lacking in options - Edit
The market hall its in is hectic - I didn’t realise the tables were just in the middle of the market. I got takeaway as it was so loud and hot. There wasn’t a great selection of food.

Good vegan buffet at a food stall - Edit
Really friendly staff and great little place at a food hall in Gaia! There were a selection of pastries / baked items, salads, and some curries - I had a spinach and tofu curry and a kidney bean curry with rice. Only negative is some of the food was a bit lacking in seasoning and the price was more expensive than other reviews on here suggested (11.50), but that’s a small issue for what you get in my opinion.

The restaurant is locked inside the large hall named 'Mercado Municipal de Gaia'. There are a lot of options, but this place is unique.

Day two in Porto and we headed out on a walk that took us over Ponte do Freixo.
Read moreWe decided to wander into the local Mercado looking for something to eat. Luckily we decided to check all the options first. That’s how we found DaTerra.
For €5.50 we each got a small container of food. As much as you want. They do have larger containers or plates for €11. Happily they had glass bottles of water, which made my “recycle” heart smile.
The various food combinations were well blended and made for a perfect lunch snack.
If you’re in the area and want a quick “on-the-go”, then this place will more than meet your satisfaction.
Pros: All you can eat! (Didn’t need to though), Nice variety of foods. , Low cost €
Cons: Didn’t see it advertised outside the building.

The restaurant is inside a nice building with a lot of other small bistros. Food is great and the tofu with mushrooms was special. I refilled twice and I think I’ll come back!

Read moreUsed to be vegetarian everything is now vegan. Buffet changes everyday. With difference between lunch and diner buffet as well. The soup was allready finished so charged lunch instead of diner. Refill possible within the price.
The ‘waiter’ was really helpful and nice.
Probably go again somewhere this week while I stay in Porto.

Claimed to be open at 12, but girls are really taking their time. We had very limited amount of time to spend in Porto and they basically stole half an hour of our time. If you are going to risk to come here, expect a very long waiting time and that they will serve food at least 30-40 minutes after their opening time.

Loved the food, service and atmosphere. We went on a Saturday noon but food wasnt delivered until 12:30. So we had a drink while waiting. It was well worth the wait! Yum!

Buffet de comida vegana. Fuimos a otro en la ciudad y éste tenía menos variedad, ya que está en el mercado y tiene menos espacio. Pero la comida igualmente muy buena y variada. El chico que nos atendió muy majo, más que en el otro sitio, y hablaba español.
