Curry mee in the evening!

If you are looking for curry mee to eat in the evening, it is a spot😊

People working there are polite and the dish was really tasty and cheap!

Delicious curry mee

Small stall at Kimberley night market, clearly labelled vegetarian on the front of the stall. MR6 for a bowl of curry mee, add more paste to increase the heat. Limited seating outside on the street, more inside the adjacent restaurant.

Nice curry noodles

Saw someone rated this as the best vegetarian curry noodles. Indeed the curry bodies is very nice. It's quite spicy. The special part is it has basil leaves added to it. Good and cheap.

Pros: Cheap and tasty

Cons: Hot and stuffy inside the shop

Cheap, authentic, but too oily

It doesn't feel very hygienic. Food is a bit unhealthy, but good.

Veg Street Stall

Cheap and quick meals. Pre made noodles. Food was nice, one dish was a bit cold though. Worth what you’re paying.

Pros: Vegan friendly , Affordable

Simple yet confusing!

Spent ages looking for this - it is a stall with 'Char Mee Hoon Mee' on it and it is in front of Kedai Bee Thean Heong (another vegetarian place) which is a small restaurant. You can sit here if you order from Da Fei. The stall had 4 noodles for dinner and other sides. I paid 3 ringgit for a plate full of all 4 with sauce! Not much choice for drinks but you can buy some desserts like black 'glutinous' rice for less than 2.20 ringgit.

Nice place for noodle and soup

I had been at this place a few times and that place is really nice. You can order different types of fried noodles, rice or soups. They also have desserts but I haven't tried yet. Last time I ordered curry soup and it was tasty, I think they prepare it with coconut milk. And fresh mint leaf gives nice taste to soup.

Pros: Lots of noodles options, it is mostly vegan., They also serve egg.

Cons: Inexpensive

If you need something fast ideal!

Had some noodles, fried rice cake and the curry puffs.
It taste good but after arriving today and just having stupid snacks i shoud have chosen something lighter with lots of veggies.
Was a bit fatty, heavy meal no veggie.
It was just a bit warm.
What i don't mind sometimes...
Two plates was 5myr

Cheap

I had a medium plate and a springroll for 3 myr. Mostly just noodles and barely any vegetables no beans. Something to fill up your stomach but nothing exciting. Still very cheap :)

Pros: Cheap, Friendly staff

Cheap street food

A simple street stall and restaurant serving different types of noodles and sauces, including mock meat. Very tasty and extremely cheap!! 2-4 RM per plate. Must try the curry puffs too! The ladies serving/cooking are very friendly too.

Pros: Cheap, Tasty , Cheap

Cons: Sometimes play weird techno.

Street food.

Tasty but very oily food. Cheapest meal you’ll eat in Penang. 2 ringgit a plate.

simple eatery, good noodles

Ordered the curry mee and that tasted nice. It's a simple eatery and the dish is not very special, but the north is delicious and the added mock meat was a nice surprise. Would recommend for a quick bite and nice hawker stall experience, not for extensive dining.

Pros: so cheap! good quality broth

Excellent food and lovely staff

We went on the recommendation from the other Happy Cow review here and I am so pleased that we did.

There are two stalls, one doing stir fried noodles and the other doing soups. We had Curry Soup (like a Laksa) and Noodles (Like Keow Teow). They were great value and really delicious. They also have some filled savoury pastries too which are very tasty.

Behind the stalls is a small restaurant area you can eat in, just ask when you are ordering.

The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making jokes and smiling constantly. We even became friends on Facebook on our second visit.

If you're in Penang and Vegetarian don't miss this place!

Excellent food stall

We wanted to go to another restaurant and ended up at the food stall thanks to a recommendation of our Uber driver. Nice people, excellent food.
There is a small restaurant behind as well. We paid 11,80 MYR for 4 dishes (twice noodles, twice char mee) the curry pastry and a small bottle of water.
