brunch - Edit
Brunch’s are good here. Not the healthiest but tasty.
Read moreThe sausages could be way better. They taste like rubber. Serving staff are super nice.

Great desserts and fries - Edit
I love the cakes they come up with and most of the food I've had was very good. Although I find the homemade seitan not good at all. So I'm staying away from that.
Read moreThe atmosphere is usually nice and quiet and relaxed during the day. Staff range from really great to so/so.

Cons: Comes off as a punk collective space but it's not

Breakfast is great! - Edit
The breakfast here is awesome, as are the staff and the selection of badges, stickers, and t shirts. I recommend the breakfast plate with the hash browns, and their drinks were nice too. I'd have liked to have been in town longer to try them out during the day.

great brunch! - Edit
Very accommodating staff. Good coffee. Breakfast burrito is very good. Sausages are a little bland. Overall will definitely be coming back! Would recommend!

Delicious food! - Edit
I stopped in D-Beatstro yesterday for a quick dinner, and I met my partner who had been hanging out and working there for a couple hours. Before I arrived, he had gotten a turmeric latte and a brownie batter peanut butter cookie bar. He thoroughly enjoyed both of them.
Read moreD-Beatstro has a lot of seating, large tables for doing work/eating, and they have free movie/TV screening events on some nights. Last night, they were doing a Simpsons Halloween episode marathon, and the night before, they had done an "Are You Afraid of the Dark?" marathon. Fun!
For dinner, we decided to get a Caesar wrap, hail seitan sandwich, and pumpkin curry soup. The Caesar wrap and pumpkin soup were REALLY delicious, but the hail seitan wasn't anything too special.
We are really excited to come back to D-Beatstro for weekend brunch!! Their prices are really fair, the staff is friendly, and you don't feel cramped or rushed hanging out there.
Pros: delicious food, all vegan, fair prices

Great vegan brunch - Edit
One things I dislike about Toronto brunch culture is that restos are packed and you often have to wait for a table. While D-Beatstro gains its popularity, you will be rewarded with an affordable and delicious vegan brunch on the weekend without having to wait.
Read moreThe portions are on the smaller side (especially the burrito) but that means you have lots of room for one of their delicious drinks - quite a lovely selection of both hot and cold options.

Great coffee, excellent food. One of the best breakfast burritos I've had. Definitely try the "supreme" home fries.
