Good delivery

Had the gobi Manchurian with chow mein delivered to my hotel and it hit the spot. The Gobi cauliflower was cooked just right in a delicious sauce. The chow mein could’ve used a little more spices as it was a bit bland. Overall a good takeout meal.

We love it

It’s one of our go to. My son loves the burrito while I prefer the plate. I’ve been a fan ever since it was a food truck and I remember when it became a brick and mortar.

Almost anything can be made vegan

First time at this established San Mateo casual dining establishment. You order at the register and they quickly bring your food. It was absolutely scrumptious. Perhaps a little oily, especially the paratha, but it was a splurge night and totally yummy! The Modern Times Sour beer from the bar attached to the restaurant really complimented the flavors. I had riced cauliflower instead of rice in one of my dishes and it was terrific. A great experience. It would’ve been fun to have some veganized Indian Sweet for dessert, but they were all dairy based. I was quite satisfied anyway. Not cheap, but generous portions and delicious. I will return!

Pros: Many clearly marked vegan items, Staff told me anything can be made vegan, Delicious spices and flavors, attached full bar.

Cons: No vegan desserts, but who had room?

Samosa Burrito!

There were so many wonderful choices on the menu that it was hard to decide. I had the "spud and flower" burrito, in a wheat wrapper with brown rice. I could eat that for lunch every day of my life and never get tired of it. So good!

Yuuuuum !

I love it that they have a lot of vegan options, clearly marked on the menu, so you don't have to go through the burden of asking every time you eat there.

I tried their thali plate and the vegan burger and they were absolutely delicious (been there twice already).
Be aware that their side sauces are not vegan, but hopefully they will add vegan options in the future.
Will be back for sure!

Ask for not spicy if you're not a fan of really spicy meals.

Pros: Vegan options clearly marked, Fast service, Good prices

Cons: They also sell meat :(, Spicy food (but can ask for non spicy)
