Reasonable - Edit

Unfortunately this place just didn't live up to the reviews for us. I cannot rate the service highly enough, all the staff were so friendly and attentive. But for me the food was not as good as the reviews lead you to believe. Maybe we all ordered the wrong things. Three of us had their famous Tofu Sizzler, which was very good - definitely not a starter (over £8 and a big portion). We will go back just for that sizzler as it would be great as a main with rice and a sauce. The curries were just average, I'm sorry. I wish i could agree with everyone here.

Amazing food! - Edit

Curry Culture really is something special, the food is so packed full of flavour with great presentation. The staff happy to help and to make dishes to suit. I asked for an all vegan sharing platter to share with our group and they made one for us. Curry culture is vegetarian, but will happily cater to vegans or any other needs you have. My mum came with us and she cant tackle spice at all so they specially made her a very mild dish that she enjoyed. They are very happy to cater to children and talk to them. Lovely experience and will definitely be back.

Pros: Tasty food, Lovely staff, Vegan peshwari naan!!!

Best Indian food and huge vegan selection - Edit

I've read loads of reviews about Curry Culture & Pepe as a host. This is by far the best Indian food I've tasted. And the vegan options are not an afterthought. Tofu, yoghurt, buttermilk, ice-cream, all vegan. We didn't choose anything from the menu we just said we were vegan and he put the whole thing together. From the popadom dips to the sizzling tofu skillet to the selection of 5 mini mains which had flavours I've never tasted before. Everyone has tasted curry made with the same spice blend in many different formats and even when it's done well it's pretty much the same. This place is truly unique ❤️

Pros: Service, Vegan options, Unique Indian food

Cons: None

Excellent and vegan friendly - Edit

I was recommended Curry Culture by fellow vegans and I was not disappointed!! I visited with 4 OMI family members and had the best curry and best service ever. The menu is all veggie and vegan and very extensive!! The wonderful Manager called Pepe was unbelievably helpful guiding us all through the menu, explaining what was/wasn't vegan and what was spicy or not for my non spice-fan family member! We got a mixed starter of lots of little dishes with the vegan ones being shown to me on separate dishes so not mixed with the veggie ones for my family (paneer). We had lots of time to decide on our mains, not rushing or pushing or hovering on our table which I've experienced from other places, so we felt so relaxed. Pepe chose for me a specially made main for me which was gorgeous and he explained to me how it was cooked. Veggies were steamed and not fried and there was NONE of that horrid oil you get in some Indian restaurants it was just so lovely!!! I cannot highly rate this place enough and my 4 meat eating family members enjoyed it and that's a first to get them all to eat at a non meat place and enjoy it, so victory all round!!! I will be recommending it to everyone, superb!!

Pros: Vegan options. Great service. Not expensive.

Cons: No cons at all

Wonderful value and friendly management! - Edit

I really liked this place when I first tried it, tasty food and really friendly, helpful management, We had a Thali and asked for it to be served vegan, which was no problem. It even included vegan lassi (using soya yogurt). Some of the menu is a bit confusing and not all vegan options are labelled, and some are labelled wrong - but the staff know what they're talking about even if the menus don't, so just mention being vegan, and they'll make sure you get that. Think they're getting new menus printed soon. The food is really good value too, definitely recommend!

Amazing vegan curry. - Edit

New curry house with a huge variety of dishes vegan or easily modified. Staff are enthusiastic and knowledgeable about vegan food. Really good flavours, freshly prepared. Spicy and tangy. We both felt it seemed relatively healthy and low fat for curry. I was impressed with the Daal and Tofu sizzler ( special )I think the menu might be too long, took me a long time to read but maybe I'm just out of practice :-)Soon to start cooking classes. On major bus route.

Pros: Extensive vegan menu, Warm and welcoming, Taste
