Tasty fast food - Edit
Tasty vegan curry wurst and chips from a kiosk in the station. Had to wait about 10 minutes (so at least it was freshly cooked!). Plenty of seating options just behind the shop (and I notice an all-vegan place will be opening there soon!). Note that it’s €1.50 to use the toilet in the station, but you get a €0.50 voucher on your receipt, which can be used for Curry 36.

Cheap and very tasty - Edit
Was quite suprised by the low price but very good quality of the vegan Currywurst. Had the one with fries and mayo and fell in love with the dish. The sausage is crispy on the outside and well seasoned on the inside. Can recommend and will go again.

Pretty good - Edit
We had the vegan currywurst with fries and both were pretty tasty. Had to wait a bit longer for the vegan sausage though since it’s apparently deep-fried (from frozen?)

Beste vegane Currywurst - Edit
Ordentliche Preise: 3,20 für die Wurst, 2,90 für die Pommes. Aber dafür auch gute Portionen, leckere Soße und gute Konsistenz der Wurst.

Had to try vegan currywurst in Berlin - Edit
So being in Berlin, I decided it was mandatory to try currywurst. Unfortunately, it's not found in many places, but I stumbled across a chain called Curry 36. Lucky for us, we were traveling through the many metro stations and happened upon one of the stores.
Read moreAs we approached, we saw it was quite busy, which is a good thing, but not until we arrived at the counter did we notice an English menu taped to the display that listed several different things. I tried asking the (quite rude) employee what some of the items were, but she seemed perturbed that I wasn't ready to rattle off my order.
We got our currywurst, ate it, and decided it wasn't all that, especially from this particular store. Well, at least we can say we tried currywurst
Pros: Quick turnaround
Cons: Rude employees, Bad placement of English menu w/combos, Hard to find

Decent - Edit
Since good vegan sausages and Currywurst in particular are hard to find, I was pleasently surprised. The texture of the sausage was a bit soft, but the sauce was very nice and the fries are okay, too.

You won't miss out if you skip this - Edit
Sausage is dry and crispy on the outside, unusually soft on the inside. No spices detected. Sauce quite alright. Overall absolutely nothing special. It's also more expensive than the meat version.
Read moreThere are 2 small bar tables, otherwise you eat out of your hand. If the queue is long, you'll be standing in the middle of the transit area of the station.
I was asked if I wanted fries or a roll. I said roll and paid 30 cents more (total 3.50€). When the sausage was ready, it was served without a roll. Bad customer experience, even if it is just a fast food stand.

Weak first impression - Edit
For a city that claims to have invented the Currywurst, this is extremely mediocre.
Read moreThe sausage is something I never had before so that's good, but it's not a great texture and tastes bland. Even the fries were meh...
Pros: Conveniently placed, Okay price , Sausages don't interact with meat
Cons: Bland, Mediocre , Small serving

Okay - Edit
Was okay for a late snack. The fries were good but I didn't really like the sausage. The texture was a litte off.

The Best Vegan Currywurst to Go - Edit
If you want to try super tasty vegan currywurst or vegan frikadelle, maybe with some French fries or bread roll, this is the place. Every time I have some time at the main station in Berlin, I snack there the fabulous vegan currywurst.

Great option on the go - Edit
Had to try this one. Got a boulette with fries and sauce. The boulette is made of soy, and have a bit of a crust and juicy insides. The sauce was a bit underwhelming, and the fries were fine. I’d say it’s a good offer based on the price and availability, and I haven’t even seen a vegan boulette anywhere else in Berlin under my few days here.

Cons: The sauce can be more flavourful.

I don't think it is a good Sausage or a good sauce. But the Fries and the vegan Mayonnaise were good. And i appreciate that there is a vegan option.

A quick currywurst when you get to Berlin - Edit
They have a vegan currywurst and now also a vegan boulette. Both are 3.2€, and with the fries for 2.7€ make a good quick meal in the nearby park.
Read moreThey fry the sausage separatedly from the rest. Ironically they then use the same knife to cut all the sausages.
They have ketchup and vegan mayo for the fries.
Pros: Quick option, Affordable, Vegan mayo
Cons: It's a bit messy, Only to take away, They cut the vegan sausage with the meat knife

Not really my thing - Edit
I was really looking forward to eat real Berlin curried sausage as a vegan option. Sadly it wasn't really my thing. The sausage is made in a fryer which makes it really heavy. The "famous" ketchup was good thoug. But I didn't like the fries either.

Teuer, frittiert, in Sauce ertränkt - Edit
2) Preis / Leistung
3) Umgang / Service
