Amazing and healthy - Edit
Really a great restaurant! Food is great, healthy and special. Big portions in my opinion. Not the usual boring food. I loved the ginger-coconut energyballs for 90 Pesos per piece. Okay, it's a little more expensive than most food in Argentina but it's soooo worth it! Wish this restaurant existed in other places too.
Read moreThe only bad thing is that the smoothies are rather watery.
They offer a lunchbox as well. Or you can just get the wraps to go.
Friendly staff, creditcards accepted.
Lovely greenhouse.
Pros: All vegan, deliciously healthy, super tasty
Cons: Quite expensive, watery smoothies

Finally some good stuff in Patagonia - Edit
Traveling in Patagonia is not so easy for vegans, difficult to find well balanced meal, usually it's just burger, salad or pasta with filet sauce. But this place is AMAZING, after lunch I felt super healthy again😄ok, it's bit more expensive that other restaurants, but it's worth to pay the difference for a quality

Great spot to eat in El Chalten! - Edit
We were so happy to find a vegan restaurant that we ate there 5 times in 3 days! All the meals we had were fantastic. We ordered packed lunches twice to take on our day hikes. They provided a substantial wrap, piece of fruit, granola/mixed nuts and a muffin. Perfect food to fuel our hikes! The suppers we had here were also delicious. The food was fresh, flavourful and healthy. The overview on Happy Cow indicates that this is solely a take-out restaurant which is untrue. There are several seating options including in their back garden, the loft, and in the main dining area. I highly recommend anyone who likes high quality, fresh food, eat here!

I would never expect a vegan restaurant in such a small city as El Chalten, definitely not in Argentina famous for steaks.
Read moreThe place is small, therefore very cozy although the kitchen seemed to be a little bit dirty.
The food was delicious (a little too salty, but not a big deal), we had tortillas with hummus and salad. The veggies were really fresh and tasty.

Perfect food before/after a long day of hiking - Edit
Cúrcuma is by far the best vegan place in all of El Chalten and I would say Calafate and Glaciar National Park area in general. They feature a decent length fully vegan and GF menu.
Read moreEverything looked really tasty, but sadly I only stumbled upon them after I had eaten the lunch I packed for myself, but since I still had a long drive back to el Calafate, I got their “vianda” or packed lunch, which is a veggie wrap, a muffin, a fruit, some trail mix, and a homemade nut bar. All of this for 400 pesos, or a bit more than $10 USD.
The wrap was on this odd corn tortilla, but it was absolutely delicious. “Veggie wrap” is usually a boring, I’ll have this because nothing else sounds edible option and curcuma completely redefined that. I think calling it a veggie wrap is even a misnomer. Such a tasty, colorful, fresh, and filling dish should have a more exciting name to match. It was the perfect wholesome meal after a long, cold day of drizzle and hiking.
The homemade nut bar was surprisingly tasty, and made by them on their dehydrator. Their muffins—I actually got 2 more so I could try every flavor they had (banana, apple, chocolate)—were all really tasty, though the texture was not amazing due to the whole GF aspect mostly. However, they were wholesome and hearty and I would take those over wheat muffins any time. Perfect level of sweetness (usually vegan pastries are much too sweet), and perfect snacking size. Their vianda is a great value for money and I only wish I had them closer so I could have eaten here again. Their pizza sounds/looks so good. I hope I can try it one day.
Overall, I highly recommend this place. Take their packed lunch with you on your hike and then come back for a warm, hearty dinner afterwards. Amazing food in the far reaches of Patagonia.
Pros: Super friendly staff, Great food, Inexpensive

Nice place but not so tasty - Edit
Great to find a vegan place in this little town. Also the people working here are super nice ! However the mains we had (burger and stuffed eggplant) were not very tasty and the place was very messy. Avoid curcuma latte, it looks more like a tea than anything. Around ~400 (10€ at the time) a main so a bit pricey.

Amazing to find a vegan venue in El Chalten! - Edit
When you’re the only vegan on a tour and everybody is focused on “steak” etc it’s just wonderful to visit a vegan venue. The food was delicious. I had the pumpkin soup and the pizza. Both were super tasty. I got the lunch box for El Fitz Roy tomorrow and I’m pretty sure I’ll be back for more meals too. It’s a lovely wee venue and they were very friendly and helpful. 👌
Read moreAdded: they were also able to make a birthday cake at very short notice which the guide of my tour surprised me with later! It was unlike any cake I’ve had, packed with carob, peanut butter, fruit and crunchy bits! The non-vegans were skeptical but they all went back for more 🤣
