Una specie di torta al testo fatta a panino con alcune proposte vegane, che a mio parere erano un po' insapore ma per mangiare qualcosa al volo direi una buona scelta

Cukuc offers a different version of the typical perugian torta al testo. The offer is wide and the vegan options are clearly labelled. They are not super tasty but can fill your belly for sure.

I happy that even the more umbrian places are trying to include something vegan in their menus, but for me this is the classical case of non-vegan making vegan options in restaurants. They simply offer a vegan burger (you will find 3 options, or just with vegetables) in a sort of torta al testo - which in my option it is actually a sandwich bread. They offer also fried stuff and a caponata. Everything is clearly marked in the menu.

Quick dinner - Edit
You are vegan and there is that evening you don’t want to make dinner. Why don’t try that place you heard about and eat something fast?. With this in mind I’ve reserved to try their vegan dishes. I’ve tried 2 different vegan burger. They serve it as a sandwich in a special bread called torta al testo. They are very good in making this bread, but the sandwich generally speaking was nothing special. I was thinking we may have something more tasty, some sauce with the burger, but just salad in one and caramelized onion in the other with a potato cream, I couldn’t actually find in it. I am glad to find new vegan options in Umbria, the location is nice, they have also outdoor tables and the staff very friendly. But the food it was acceptable, nothing more.
