As mentioned there is a separate vegan/vegetarian menu. I had the salt baked celeriac it was delicious… I can’t agree with the other reviews my portion was normal size, had the banoffee for afters. Fab views and service.

Delish but expensive - Edit
Has a vegan menu! Delicious butternut squash dish and the bannoffee for dessert! Amazing views, good service and atmosphere, just more expensive for sure. If you’re staying in Portree it’s worth a visit, but then for your more affordable meals go to the isles inn.

The hotel always has a vegan menu available. It’s not always what’s noted here but you can look it up on their website.
Read moreThe starter didn’t appeal to me but I tried both mains and deserts. The polenta was very nice but the gnocchi was a fairly bland. The deserts were both really nice. But I was left hungry as the portions are tiny- and there’s no sides dishes to order. I regret not mentioning it because a guy behind me asked and they did do him some chips. I appreciate fancier places often do smaller portions but I shouldn’t still be hungry after a roll and two courses.
The selling point of this place really is the views. It is amazing and the tables are set out so everyone can look out at it.

Vegan friendly hotel - Edit
Lovely hotel with vegan dinner menu. Speak to them about breakfast & let them use their imagination- I’ve had some fabulous surprises! They are super helpful & really understand the vegan diet.
