Cuenco ofrece comida siempre variada, nunca vas a comer lo mismo dos veces. Tienen buffet y un menú a la carta también. El lugar es súper agradable y la comida es realmente muy rica!

I love this place. Legit close to the earth food for the soul. I have visited many vegetarian buffets in Mendoza and though they are all good (mostly all good). Cuenco shines above the rest. I try and eat here as much as possible when I'm in town. Bring your own to go container and avoid the plastic take out box. When they have baba ganoush I buy it to go with there great whole grain bread. Super warm people staff the place.

Ein kleines recht schickes Restaurant nur wenige Gehminuten vom Zentrum Mendozas entfernt! Auf meine Frage nach dem Menü wurde mir gleich versichert das alle Gerichte 100% vegan sind. Und insgesamt habe ich für Vorspeise, Hauptgericht & Dessert insgesamt nicht mal umgerechnet 9€ bezahlt (560$ Ars)! Zudem bietet das Restaurant auch ein riesiges kulinarisches Buffet von dem man sich sein Essen abgewogen auch bequem mit nach Hause nehmen kann. Das ist wirklich jedem Vegan-Liebhaber zu empfehlen!

One of the only places for sit-down dining - Edit
Very nice restaurant. Has a buffet, like almost every other vegan option in the city but this is one of the only places you can actually sit down and be served off a menu. Food is delicious and creative. I liked the Hawaiian pizza. They also have a buffet but I recommend ordering off of the menu at least once! Presentation is lovely and it's a different experience to microwaving it yourself, which I got sick of doing everywhere after a week in Mendoza 😂

Best Vegan buffet in Mendoza - Edit
An all Vegan restaurant in Mendoza with by far the most wide variety of items in the buffet consisting of everything from tofu, to seitan, to fake soya meat, to all the local delicacies like fried zucchini, eggplant, risotto, tons of veggies and salads, French fries, onion rings.. The buffet list is endless, and everything is very tasty. They have many ice-creams and desserts. Best thing is everything is Vegan and you can eat without thinking!

Tienen mucha variedad de platos fríos y calientes para almorzar o cenar. Sirven jugos 100% naturales y los precios son muy convenientes (se paga por peso). El staff muy amable también.

Fuimos por primera vez a cenar, apenas bajamos del avión. La atención es super, y tienen mucha variedad de platos para comer en el salón, más comida al peso para llevar. Podés comer un menú de 2, 3 o 4 pasos y tienen mucha variedad para elegir en cada paso. La sopa de tomate es excelente! Compramos 3 entradas para compartir y dos platos principales. Las porciones son gigantes, así que aconsejo que si quieren llegar con espacio al postre, no abusen de las entradas. Tienen siempre diferentes variedades de jugo naturales, todos los que pedimos estaban deliciosos.

Without a doubt this is the best vegan place in Mendoza. Food is always amazing and also they change the menu quite often, so you can always experience something new. Good price/quality relationship. Everytime I can go, I go. I have even try their vegan chorizo, to die for.

La pasión de las amable mujeres que trabajaban allí ha hecho la diferencia entra una experiencia muy buena y una perfecta!
Pros: Todo es vegano, hay también cerveza artesanal muy rica

This is one of the best vegan places I’ve been to in South America. Buffet-style, pay-by-weight restaurant. Also there are plastic containers of various sizes for take-away. I came here almost everyday of my stay in Mendoza. I had salad, veggies, seitan and tortilla and lots of other things I can’t remember. On my last day I had take-away (large amount) for lunch, evening meal and airport meal. So $400AR pesos for 3 meals is amazing. Everything here is delicious. The buffet food is cold but you have the use of a microwave if you want it hot. I just ate ‘as is’ and it was fine.

One of my best vegan restaurant in South America. Very wide buffet, you will want to eat everything! For a big plate plus a small salad it was 176s, which is ~4.2€ but prices vary very quickly here. Bottom line is: cheap, tasty, lots of choice! Also has an outdoor sitting and the waitress was super nice!

Read moreMendoza isn't a very vegan-friendly city so Cuenco felt like a breath of fresh air with so many options.
I most loved the soymeat stroganoff and the noodle dishes. They also had a vegan enchilada!
However, the price is a little bit too high in my opinion, and so that's why I'm only giving 4 stars.

Best food in Argentina (too bad about the microwaves) - Edit
In my three weeks of traveling and eating in Argentina, Cuenco was my favorite dining experience. It has by far the best variety of vegan food items any of the restaurants I visited, with several dozen items in the buffet each day. Flavors were consistently good. And the service here is also the friendliest I encountered anywhere in Argentina, making me feel like a beloved family member. Prices are low for the quality, and with both indoor and outdoor seating I never had to wait for a table.
Read moreThe only downside is that most of the food in the buffet gets cold pretty quickly, and the only option for reheating it is microwave ovens (as is the case at so many eateries in Argentina). This is a real pity, not only because of the scientifically documented health implications of microwave cooking (e.g. enzymes being damaged in a way that makes them less nutritious), but also because microwave cooking causes unpleasant changes in the texture of many of the otherwise delicious items, such as the empanadas, canastitas, pizza, etc. (making the pastry shells and crusts mushy). It would be a huge improvement if they would use the steam tables to keep the hot food hot, and also provide at least one conventional toaster oven (or similar miniature oven powered by conventional heat rather than microwaves) for those things that need a rewarming.
Still, despite that one issue, Cuenco was my favorite hands down, and I look forward to returning to enjoy the delicious food served by these very warm and hospitable people.
