Nice cafe with vegan options (vegan pasties!)

Good vegan options in the cafe, including a very nice vegan spiced cauliflower pasty, and plenty of milk alternates in tea and coffee.

Wholesome and tasty vegan options to enjoy in beautiful surroundings

I've been visiting this café at Trelissick for years and of all the National Trust cafes I've tried, the Crofters Café at Trelissick offers the best range at good prices.

There's plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. It's fully accessible on the ground floor level. There is additional upstairs seating where dogs on leads are allowed. They always provide dishes of water for the dogs and there are shaded tables outside.

Today I had the vegan vegetable tagine but could have had the mixed bean chilli. There was a choice of vegan sweet pastries and vegan milk options for drinks.

It's a family friendly venue, of course. Plenty of parking, (which will cost non NT members £3.00). You don't have to access the gardens to access the café and there are wonderful free walks. A great place for locals and visitors alike.

Pros: Good quality vegan products, Friendly staff, Bonus of gorgeous walks, toilets, shop

Cons: They put butter on the plate with my vegan meal, I'd like more vegan sandwich and pasty options

In addition to Crofters Cafe there are vegan options available in the main house at Trelissick where you can sit in lovely rooms with views of the river. No dogs are permitted in the house cafe).
