Went for the veggie sandwich - Edit
We were looking for somewhere to have a quick bite to eat and a glass of wine and didn’t even look at the full menu but went straight for the aubergine/artichoke/olive tapenade sandwich which was just what was needed. Nice bread.

We became aware of this restaurant through the many positive reviews. One page on the menu is marked as vegetarian and vegan. Please note that the risotto, gnocci and tagliatelle are not vegan! Only the classic dishes like spaghetti pomodoro, aglio olio etc. which you can find in any other restaurant are vegan. In addition, a cake is marked vegan, but we have not tried. The person who wants to enjoy the classic dishes can do so in a nice atmosphere on the terrace.

We sat down after seeing vegan options mentioned. We had 2 decaf soy cappuccinos which were good and the vegan cake (very nice). Ask for it without whip cream, they clearly don't fully understand what vegan entails. Their veggie menu is most probably pre-made because we asked for the gnocchi without mozzarella and apparently this was not possible, which suggests to me the food is not prepared fresh. It is not easy to get a good vegan meal in Sirmione, so you'll have to make do.

Bought a vegan sandwich here to go and have for lunch while sitting by the lake. They are ready made so nice and quick and genuinely delicious! It had loads of grilled veg, olive tapenade and some lettuce

The menu has a vegetarian/vegan section of which only 3 dishes were vegan. Same dishes offered at other restaurants. I ordered the spaghetti with oil, garlic and the grilled veggies. It was okay but nothing fancy.

Unclear if there are any vegan dishes (both menu and waiter couldn’t tell) - Edit
We went to this restaurant because of the good reviews, however, the menu did not state which vegetarian dishes were vegan. When i asked which ones were vegan, the waiter replied that “it depends on you, do you eat mozzarella?” When i replied no, i only eat vegan he said he didn’t know which ones were but it would probably be better to take something without mozzarella… i decided to go somewhere else instead because I did not want to accidentally eat egg-pasta or cheese sauce.. Too bad! The menu also didn’t have the lasagne as some mentioned earlier. I ended up going somewhere else and got some pizza vegetariana without cheese!

Nothing special, but for Sirmione where it's hard to find a place that serves vegan options, it's a good place to go. They know about vegan cuisine, and offer quite a few options. They updated their menu even.

The have several vegan meals on the menu. We had a vegan meat lasagne, pasta pomodore and the vegan sandwich. The pasta and the sandwich were okay, the lasagne was good, the taste was almost too close to the original. All dishes are premade. The table next to us tried to order plain pasta without sauce. That was not possible.

vegan lasagne and vegan sandwich were not available. I ended up eating pasta with tomato sauce and some of the pasta was already dried. The vegetarian canelloni that my boyfriend ate were also not that good.

First of all the vegan lasagna will be out forever. I think they took it down from the menu. The Risotto was okay. It’s a nice spot there but with plastic seats and plastic bottle water. But they have some vegan options like a sandwich, 2 pasta dishes (that are quite basic) and the risotto.

The Lasagna reported before was not available, the waiter spoke only a little English. We had the Safran risotto and the sandwich. The portions were small and there were only a few pieces of vegetables in the sandwich. The place is although nicely located with outside seating at a nice corner.

I was very disappointed because I was eating a lot for breakfast and when I came for lunch time on this restaurant I was suprised that they had a lot of vegan options beside Spagetti Pomorodo and Foccacia. They had Penne Ragu, Risotto, Lasagna and a tasty vegan sandwich. I will come back.
