Filling and tasty - Edit
A great quirky choice in a town full of big chain restaurants. Big portions of excellent Indian food. All vegetarian, about half (clearly marked) vegan. Friendly service and good value.

Third time's the charm - Edit
I've been here three times and I really enjoy getting some tasty authentic Indian food. I've had three of the Chefs recommend- veg dosas (Indian equivalent of pancakes) - veg Manchurian, cauliflower Manchurian and the Popeye (Spinach curry). Each time they've come with delicious dips. I had a mix of starters the first time but the main was so filling it was a bit of a struggle having both. As it was vegetarian, there were a lot of vegan options available although sadly not in the dessert section. Overall, worth going for a genuine Indian experience beyond just curry and takeaway options are available too.

Cons: Service a bit slow, Not all drink options available (juices), No vegan desserts

Delicious Indian food- very large portions - Edit
Ate here twice. Food was really nice. They have listed vegan options. The mushroom Manchurian was delicious and very spicy. The portions are massive I accidentally ordered way too much food both times. There’s a reward system where you get a euro or so in credit after each meal. The one letdown was the Dahl tarka, it just tasted like thick turmeric water, it was either too spicy or too mild depending on the bite. It missed the delicious garlicky taste I wanted and it was a bit stogy. I say again, the portion sizes are huge, the dosas look like more than enough for one person so be careful not to order too much like I did.

Proper street food - Edit
Superb quality food, well priced and generous portions.
Read moreFriendly staff. I went on a Friday lunchtime and service was super fast, but they weren’t too busy.
Would give 5 stars if more of the menu became vegan, which wouldn’t be that difficult I don’t think!

Authentic pure veg South Indian - Edit
We went for the £13 breakfast buffet. Bottomless authentic South Indian and (non vegan) chai. The place was rammed with Indian families as its a complete outlier in the Ballardian corporate dystopia of Milton Keynes. If you have visited South India this will be your favourite veggie food. If not, try Krispy Dosa and hopefully it will be. Mostly vegan.

Cons: May be busy because of the quality of the food

Slow but tasty - Edit
One of the only vegetarian restaurants in MK, and about half the menu is vegan. The service is slow, even for takeout, but everything is cooked fresh & tasty, and it's always busy which is a good sign. It is right in the city centre across the road from the shopping centre and the staff are friendly. I've been here about 6 times now.

Delicious but very slow service - Edit
Very tasty but plan/call ahead as they are very busy and very slow. They underestimate the wait as well. The chefs make outstanding authentic Indian with gluten free (including dosa) as well as vegan options. Highly recommend the chili mushrooms and dahl. If you do dairy, the Palak paneer. Raj, as our waiter, cares and will attend to your needs. The take-away worked best for me. We don’t recommend the veg kolhapuri as it just has less and carrots both of which I’m allergic to. The sauce would be far better with cauliflower! Enjoy and bring your long conversations if you’re going to dine in 😊 whenever I’m back from Lake Tahoe/Reno USA, I’ll come back and call ahead 🙏
