Affordable and carefully crafted vegan and vegetarian menus - Edit
The chef offers a menu clearly split in 3: meat/fish-including, vegetarian and all vegan, and each menu has about the same number of choices, so you can straight away zoom in on the section that fits your diet and as a vegan you don't need to feel like the poor relative who gets the afterthoughts only.
Read moreIngredients are fresh and, in my opinion, it was very good quality for the price, considering you can have you meal at a table... just make sure you book, it's small !
(At time of my visit, november 23, it was not open non-stop, but opened fir the evening shift at 18:30)

Un endroit agréable où l'on peut manger de très délicieuses crêpes en toute tranquillité. Le service était très sympathique et la nourriture était excellente.

Le Creporama est une crêperie omnivore à prix raisonnable dont la carte propose un bon nombre d'options végétariennes et véganes. La galette au sarrasin que j'ai goûté était généreuse et délicieuse (sauce champignons, pomme de terre fondantes, tofu fumé, râpé végétal bien fondu). Les personnes qui m'accompagnaient ont goûté des galettes végétariennes et ont aussi beaucoup apprécié. Côté sucré, ils proposent une pâte à crêpe végétale et sans gluten qui est très bien (c'est tellement rare d'en trouver !) Et là encore plusieurs options sont disponibles (le praliné maison est très bon). Le resto est petit, pensez à réserver, le cadre est simple et sympa et la personne qui tient le restaurant était charmante. Un bon moment !

Petite crêperie seulement 12 places, pensez à réserver. Plusieurs choix vegan tant galettes que crêpes et sorbet. Très bon et pas cher du tout. Je recommande.

Les plats sont super bon et le rapport qualité/prix est de mise. C'était une première de trouver une crêperie qui propose des alternatives végétales. De plus, le restaurateur est très sympa. Je vous recommande cette place.

Very rude owner - Edit
We're not sure, but on reflection we think we might have missed a sign saying 'full' (as in maybe not taking anymore orders even though it was well before closing) but as soon as we went in we were treated abhorently by the owner. We thought we'd give him a chance but then when the food arrived it had what looked like cheese in it when we ordered the vegan option. (Double checked the menu and there was no mention of vegan cheese being included.) I'm very intolerant to dairy (as in I'd have been horribly sick for 48 hours) so I thought it was best to double check. On asking, the guy was so rude he basically reduced me to tears. He then treated me like an idiot when I couldn't find the toilet because it was behind a door saying private. Shame as we were so excited to finally get vegan crepes in France but I could barely taste the food as I was so upset. We're not really complainers so were basically lost for words otherwise we might have said something. Instead we just paid and left in true English style 🤣

Plusieurs choix végétaliens en salé et sucré. Très bon accueil et le gérant sait ce que vegan signifie, c'est rare que l'on nous précise qu'il n'y a pas de protéines de lait dans les sorbets. Et les crêpes sont très bonnes !

I haven’t had a real crêpe in so long, and it was equally exciting to get the real deal in France. As other have mentioned, the place is tiny with no restroom (common in this area), and only one staff member was available to cook, wait tables, etc. However, he was very nice and can speak a little bit of English (so you’re still ok here even if you don’t know French... although you might want to think about knowing a little so you can get around).
Read moreThe crêpe itself was delicious and actually filling; I got a dessert one instead of savory and was still satisfied. Prices were fairly inexpensive— I only paid €5 for my dessert crêpe. Well worth it.

Galettes and crêpes in the historical centre of Albi - Edit
Good food, with lots of vegan galettes and sweet crêpes too. Friendly staff and very cheap food. The restaurant is small and has no restroom (I think it is made to take away, but it has four tables inside).

A small but cute restaurant run by Eric who is charming! Many vegan options which makes a change in small town France where veganism is only just becoming popular. Reasonnable prices. Just missing vegan cheese and ham!

Nice plant-based galettes - Edit
The menu offers a great choice of plant-based French galettes and crepes. We loved the smoked tofu plus onions galette, the chocolate plus peaches crepe, and the brut cider. The owner is very nice. He let clear that he offers plant based options, not vegan, as it is still an omni place. We hope one day it will be a vegan restaurant, for the animals. ;)

I had a galette. It was good, but not spectacular. The kick was missing. But I was glad to find something vegan to eat :-D. I would have loved to have vegan cheese on the galette.

Saviour in rural France! - Edit
Crep’o’rama was the first place that we’ve been able to easily order vegan food since we arrived in France a few weeks ago - the savoury options were yummy and clearly marked vegan, the sweet options were delicious and the owner and crepe chef was very friendly! We have struggled elsewhere in Albi, with a few restaurants using the word Vegan to describe their vegetarian menu so this was a relief! Our only issue was that on the vegan menu, there are a few crepes featuring bechamel, and it wasn’t super clear if the bechamel itself was vegan and homemade, or whether there was more confusion over the word Vegan. We decided to play it safe and get the options that were just veggies and tofu, but I reckon if you were more confident in French you could ask the guy!Additionally - this place is also super lgbtq friendly - yas! 🌈
