A happy surprise! - Edit
We were so happy to find this gem in Kennewick. We were in town for my son's athletic competition and looking for something good for lunch and ended up coming back twice.
Read moreThe interior is spacious and clean. The staff was super friendly. The menu is extensive, including both Crepe options and more traditional Mexican fare. Although there isn't a separate Vegan menu, everything on the menu(not just the crepes) is able to be made vegan and they have dedicated equipment for making vegan menu items.
The owner has taken care to buy great vegan ingedients like lions mane mushrooms, etc to substitute and make the menu vegan. The second day we talked to the Owner and he was incredibly friendly, knowledgable about Veganism, willing to discuss menu items and visit. We were impressed with the care he puts into making all items vegan when requested. We ordered several different types of crepes.
My kids ordered the non-vegan Tres Leches crepes, which of course they loved. Mine was the Vegan version of the Greek Crepe and it was delicious! We'll be back each time we're in town for sure.
Pros: Friendly, knowledgable staff, Lots of Vegan food options, ask, Great food

Best restaurant with vegan options - Edit
I would give it a 5, since they can make anything on their menu vegan. Try the vegan Molcojete. Three types of mushrooms, onions, peppers, nopalitos, and beans served in a hot stone.

The Most Vegan Options in Tri-Cities - Edit
The Food and service were great. Nearly everything on the 2 menus can be made vegan. One menu is Mexican food and the other is crepes. They substitute meat with mushrooms or jackfruit and they have vegan products for cheese and milk. We will be visiting this place frequently!

MANY DELICIOUS VEGAN OPTIONS!!! - Edit
***** FIVE STARS *****
Read moreI rate this restaurant FIVE STARS, but Happy Cow only allows 5 stars for 100% vegan restaurants.)
The Crepe Haus & El Compadre restaurant offers an unusual combination of Mexican food and crepes, but it works! We’ve met here twice for large family gatherings and each time, half of us ordered from the crepe menu, and half from the Mexican menu. Everyone was happy!
The crepe kitchen is divided into two stations. One station is dedicated to preparing gluten free, vegan crepes. Any crepe on the menu can be made vegan, which means there are many delicious options.
In addition almost everything on the Mexican menu can be prepared vegan. Ask the server to make your dish vegan and they’ll tell you the options, which usually include substituting meat for two types of mushrooms or jackfruit, plus vegan cheeses. I especially like the lion’s mane mushrooms which have been in stock all three times I’ve eaten here.
It’s exciting to find a restaurant that has lots of delicious vegan choices. I’ll return to this restaurant again and again!
