Amazing ice cream sandwich (ice cream Sammie) and delightful owner. I had the sugar cookie while on a December bike ride when I came across the Herndon Winter Market. What a great surprise! Highly recommended.

The storefront is worth a visit too! We had a great 10 item vegan platter at the Ethiopian restaurant next door(Enatye Ethiopian) and then fabulous ice cream for dessert.

Vegan gourmet ice cream (and chocolate cake) - Edit
Discovered this place in VegNews, which rated it one of the best in the entire US. The owner is a Michelin-star chef. All ice creams are vegan. We tried and enjoyed the chocolate cookie and key lime flavors.

10/25 update: Tried the Brownie Batter and Fudge Sundae ice cream and cake jars--both were decadent. Also recommend the current seasonal ice cream flavor: Butter Pecan.

This place has amazing variety of flavors! The black sesame and pear is my favorite. Not a sit down place and a little hard to find but worth trying #Veganuary.

Best vegan ice cream, hands down! - Edit
In the almost 4 years since I switched to a plant-based diet, I’ve tried a LOT of vegan ice cream. Though some have been quite good, nothing can compare to Olivia’s. This is the most delicious ice cream I’ve ever tasted (I’m including non-vegan ice creams!). Worth the trip to Herndon, Virginia for sure.

It's so great to have another fully vegan business in the Herndon area. The owner Olivia is super sweet and passionate about her craft. We loved the candied almond Sammie, grasshopper scoop and tahini sesame half pint. Can't wait to go back and try additional flavors.
