Franchise chain of American diner style dessert cafes in the UK. Serves gelato ice cream, waffles, sundaes, milkshakes, cookies, smoothies, coffee, tea, and crepes. Introduced a vegan menu in 2019 - ask for it. Choices include a selection of sorbets, chocolate chip cookie dough scoops, crepes, waffles and shakes. Open Mon-Fri 11:00-22:30, Sat 11:00-23:00, Sun 11:00-22:30.

Small range, depressing decor!

When I read the Creams plant-based menu on their website I was really excited about taking my daughter there. When we arrived, there was no plant-based menu available to look at (we asked, they said there wasn’t one), and that only the cookie dough base was available for the sorbets. Not having the vegan toppings list to hand, meant we just ended up settling for just a chocolate sorbet by itself (sorbet was nice enough, but would work out super expensive if having more than one). Staff were nice. I was just disappointed that the shop didn’t match the promise of the website. The decor has a slightly dodgy nightclub feel to it, and feels a bit grotty. Until they have a decent plant-based menu available to look through, I doubt I’ll be back.

Pros: Nice staff

Cons: Limited menu, not worth the trip
