I freaking loved this place!! - Edit
One of the number 1 things I miss being plant based is the pastries so was so happy when I found this spot! Beautifully decorated and really lovely service. My almond crossaint was incredible. The only thing I would say is the toilets could be cleaner but everything else makes up for that.

4.75 stars - Edit
Not quite five stars but very nearly, and definitely more that than four. The mains were lovely but had a bit of a home cooked feel - personally I love that because it sticks to your ribs but my partner expected slightly better. But the cakes and pastries were out of this world - classy, sophisticated, gorgeous works of art that tasted absolutely fabulous. And the drinks were lovely too - the sea buckthorn in particular. Service was very good and the look and feel was enchanting. I see that other people have moaned about the prices, but I think they were fair for London. I would definitely recommend going. Probably the best vegan cafe I’ve been to in this country.

Lovely little cafe - v. expensive though - Edit
Lovely cafe with delicious looking desserts, iced teas, lemonades, eclairs, croissants etc. i had a croissant and lemonade which were delicious. I wanted to try the desserts but they were quite pricey at £10 per tiny portion so I decided to skip them.

Hi! Thank you so much for your review 💕
Read moreI just would like to say that it’s very hard to make vegan and gf desserts, without refined sugar, and it takes more ingredients, time and afford then usual one. To ensure that our desserts taste good and are vg&gf we make everything from scratch, such as butter, creams, caramelised fruits, sometimes even flour. So of course we have to pay our employees a salary for their hard working hours.
For example, just so you understand the simplest looking raspberry tart is hours of work: making the dough (with our own made butter) and forming the tarts, baking them, cooking a cream, cooking a raspberry filling, making a homemade marzipan (which is a long process of crashing almonds), making a cream with this marzipan, making and baking a sponge cake, finally forming the tart with everything together and then decorating everything with raspberries and almonds, before the dessert comes on a display
And this is one of our simplest desserts 🙌
So I hope it clears a little bit our pricing (which also included rent, electricity, taxes) ❤️
I’m very sorry that your felt like barista was grumpy, we’re going to have a talk with our staff, but I hope for your understanding that sometimes everyone can have a bad day 🥺💞
I’m very happy that you liked croissants and lemonades, we will be very happy to see you enjoying them again 🫂

Vegan dream! - Edit
I came here several times and I’ve tried the almond croissant, hazelnut pastry and the coffee salted caramel one. The coffee salted caramel wasn’t really my favorite but I’ve LOVED everything else! Will definitely come back here every time I’m in London! The pastries are a bit pricey (in between 8 and 10 pounds each) but so well worth it! Staff is also incredibly friendly.

TooGoodToGo is disappointing - Edit
Got a TooGoodToGo bag for this place which I had never visited before but heard good things. I was expecting to get a variety of sweet treats but I got some thin offcuts of cake that they wouldn’t have been able to sell because it was essentially the ‘crust’ of a loaf, so that was disappointing. The sponge that I did get was quite dry but the rich icing made up for it. This paragraph isn’t a criticism of the whole bakery but as you can’t easily find reviews for toogoodtogo I thought I’d post this here - perhaps I just got an unlucky bag!
Read moreThe bakery itself has a very pink interior and staff are knowledgeable about allergens, although not the friendliest. It advertises itself as all vegan and gluten-free, but it must said that the croissants I received (also in the bag) did contain gluten. The desserts are very expensive at £10 average. They still had quite a few left (especially the coffee one and honeycomb cake) near to closing.

Unique place - Edit
Unique place, though not exceptional. Being welcomed with a hello would be nice - some improvement needed there. We tried a croissant which was huge though a little dry (but being fair, it was quite late in the day, so assuming in the morning it would have been better). Would definitely like to try some of the savoury food next time. 4 stars for now. Very happy everything is vegan!

Great food, pretty place - Edit
We ordered the meat dumplings, cheese and spinach dumplings, and mashed potatoes with fried banana. Food was great although the meat dumplings were much better than the spinach. I found the spinach ones a little bland. The place is very pretty and there's lots of traditional veganised Ukrainian food to try.

We got our cakes to take away and were disappointed when we realised we’d paid £12 a mousse cake that was actually liquid inside. No discernible flavour and just not pleasant to eat.

Very tasty - Edit
Found this lovely place near Theatre-land, having been kind of let down by a veggie place nearby. No problem, i’ll be back here again. The food seemed simple but don’t be fooled, boy was it tasty, and in particular the raspberry & cream tower cheesecake type thing was gorgeous.

Fabulous find, unique and quirky with a lovely relaxed feel. Our choices included a pink matcha (thumbs up), blue matcha (2 thumbs up) bumble coffee (unusual) and 2 avocado toast, 1 with a vegan egg. A selection of vegan menu items and a stunning cake selection to choose from as well!

Thanks to the super friendly staff here for their advice, I bought 3 cakes to take away, so very satisfied with all 3. Passion fruit éclair, cherry moose chocolate cake and my favourite raspberry almond tart this had a beautiful hint of rose to it - sublime. I'll be back with friends soon. :)

beautiful place with luscious decor and colour. run by the loveliest of staff, this place is definitely worth a visit and supporting the business helps support ukrainian refugees. i recommend trying a ukrainian tea here- something that you obviously never usually see, or get to try, in any old cafe. lovely selection of vegan sweet treats too. my only critique is the price, however i would definitely return if in covent garden again.
