DELICIOUS sweet treats for a wonderful cause

Oh my gosh where do I begin!!!! Cream Dream has the most amazing range of sweet vegan pastries (all of which are also gluten free), with creations that I’ve never seen vegan versions of before, and some creations I’ve never seen ever! They also have a range of teas and some traditional Ukrainian savoury food. The decor is gorgeous, a wonderful pink and floral theme with impressive flower hangings from the ceilings. The staff were so sweet and explained to me what each treat was like. Not only that, but Cream Dream is owned by, and only employs, refugees from Ukraine. It is truly a gorgeous cafe/bakery that has wonderful food and supports an awesome cause!!!

Pros: Amazing options, Gorgeous food and decor, Lovely staff

Delicious dumplings and pastry

We had two types of dumplings, both fresh and delicious. Then we also took away a huge almond croissant which was enough for two!
Great food!

Such a cute aesthetic!

Super friendly staff and such a cute little cafe! I believe dogs are welcome as they had a dog bed in the corner. I think there is more seating upstairs as well. I got a croissant (3 pounds) that was very tasty however, I would definitely ask for it to be heated up next time. Would love to come back and try the dumplings!

Oh my!

Wow! I went expecting to eat patisserie but had a full Ukrainian meal and dessert instead and it was exceptional. First time eating vegan Eastern European type dumplings as I’ve been craving those for ages. My first Varenyky ever. The sweet and savory dumplings were outstanding as was the potato pancake, borsch with pampushka rolls and garlic butter dipping sauce YUM!! We will come back here for sure!!

The pot of tea is very beautiful and generous for £5. It can easily serve four to share. We tried the rhubarb and almond tart which was yummy. It was almost like an almond shortbread base with a rhubarb cream and then glazed rhubarb on top. Not very sweet at all but lovely. I was gutted I didn’t have room to try some dumplings here or other hot and savoury food.

Good cakes but crazy expensive

The cakes are very good, you can tell they are made with quality ingredients; not too sweet which I appreciated. At the same time though the price is ridiculously high, £12 for a pistachio tart sounds really too much. Unfortunately I won't be able to go there often, I simply cannot afford it

Pros: Good cakes, not too sweet

Cons: Too expensive

I live in Covent Garden, I know the prices of stuff here. I walked in, delighted at the concept, of having this on my doorstep. I saw small cakes priced £10, £11, £12. I couldn't help myself blurt out that the prices are outrageous, and I walked out. That's more than double the cost of equivalent cakes in French vegan patisserie Land & Monkeys - itself 60% higher than regular patisseries. £12? Get in the sea.

Delightful and delicious

We had a day planned at the London eye and surrounding area, and this cafe is just a short walk away. The place itself is beautiful, all pink and flowers with additional seating upstairs. We ordered the potato and butter dumplings, chicken Kyiv, and salmon and I cannot decide which was our favorite! The salmon just realistic enough without going overboard into “fishy” territory. We also got the citrus lemonade that has hints of orange and a just-right amount of bitterness from grapefruit or citrus peel.

The desserts are beautiful, and we settled on the honey cake with cherries, raspberry and marzipan tart, and snickers eclair. All were delicious and tasted very fresh.

The whole visit was delicious, delightful, and highly recommended!

Cute and friendly

- but unfortunately the eclair I chose wasn't really my taste, especially compared with the price. But everything else was fine, cute cafe and very nice people.

Cons: Quite pricy

We need to talk about how good the savoury food is here

Yes the cakes look amazing and are tasty - but my God, the savoury food is immense, the Varenyky may be a little pricey but it is DELICIOUS. Also loved the Savoury Pancakes and vegan salmon - the borsch was next level though. But you simply have to try the varenyky and borsch if you are near here, hands down best vegan versions of each dish that I have tasted.

Incredible desserts

Vegan dessert cafe perfect for quick desserts. We had strawberry tarts in our way to an event and the crème patissiere was mind-blowingly delicious! Expensive but so worth it 😋

Vegan pastry café plus Ukrainian meals

Beautiful and delicious treats, all vegan and gluten-free - éclairs, tarts, cakes and cookies. The mango-passionfruit éclair and chocolate "travel cake" (like a brownie) were great. Not inexpensive. I loved the cashew-caramel cookie. Next time, I took away a raspberry-marzipan tart - good and not overly sweet.
Hot and cold drinks available - try one of their special teas!
Ukrainian-inspired food menu too, but not on Mondays or Wednesdays. I went back to try the vegan Chicken Kyiv, and it was delicious! Crusty outside, tasty inside. Served with mashed potatoes, and attractively garnished.

Happy to support a Ukrainian business.

Delicious Vegan Pastries

Dreamy vegan pastries that are gluten free too! Lots of the cakes were also soya free which was great for my friend who has a soy intolerance. I had the vanilla eclaire and it was delicious, well worth the price as a treat! She had the “honey” cake which she said was also really nice. The staff were really friendly, we got free cat stickers, the coffee was nice, and it is very pink!!! 💕

Pros: Vegan pastries , Friendly staff , Good coffee

Hidden gem in central london

Decked out in gaudy pink this unique Ukrainian joint serves delicious vegan takes on classic dishes that you’d usually struggle to find. As well as hearty & imaginative Eastern European savouries they also serve fabulous looking cakes & pastries. The wine list includes a lot of national varieties. Next time I’m definitely going to try the cherry & chocolate verenky!

The best vegan cafe

Amazing vegan place! I have several allergies but still could enjoy gluten free, vegan and sugar free desserts! My favourite is cheery cake but snickers eclair is my second choice.
And Carpathian tea was amazing too, for the 5£ you can have a teapot for 3 people that they also refill for free, it’s so different from usual teas I've tried, it’s a very nice herbal tea.
Another time I also tried their Ukrainian cuisine, and borsch is just on another level! Literally licked my plate. And baristas are really sweet and it was nice to talk to them.
Location is great too, so close to most important tourist places, I always stop by when I’m in central London
I also followed them in instagram and TikTok and the story of this place is heartbreaking
Definitely coming back soon!!! 😍

Pros: Cherry&chocolate tart , Snickers eclair , Pistachio tart
