Great falafel - Edit
There aren't many vegan options on the boardwalk, and the only other falafel we'd had (at hot spot) was not very good. As of July 2025 the Egyptian menu is no longer posted (it's a secret menu) and it's reduced compared to 2024 but they still have falafel salad or sandwiches. They come with dairy-based tzatziki by default but were happy to switch to vegan tahini sauce for us, even after they came with the tzatziki. They also turned on the A/C since some of our party were hot. One of the best savory options available on the boardwalk for vegans! Also - yes the owner about the name and he said that he had bought a long-standing pizza restaurant including the license to use it, but the name license fell through at the last moment so he had to come up with something on the spot. He didn't explain why this was the thing he thought made sense for a business name but we laughed together over it.
