Nice to find vegan options - Edit
We don't usually go to omni places and ended up at Crazy Burger for lack of vegan or vegetarian-only restaurants. The menu on their website is outdated. They have a few clearly labeled vegan items: two burgers (one with a bean patty, one with tempeh), a quesadilla, a couple desserts and shakes. Some of the side dishes (fries, steamed vegetables) are also vegan even if not labeled as such. We had the bean patty burger, the vegan quesadilla, steamed broccoli, fries, and a chocolate shake, and enjoyed everything. Service was helpful and fast.

Breakfast > Dinner - Edit
A group of us, not all vegan, got some food from there. I got a vegan “burger” (wrap) and it was good. Nothing amazing which was the general consensus. We decided to go back there for breakfast and let me tell you. I got the Mexi-tofu, swapping the goat cheese with their soy cheese, and. It. Was. Amazing! They have about 4-5 total vegan breakfast options but NO LONGER HAVE VEGAN PANCAKES OR FRENCH TOAST. Would come again for breakfast and consider dinner if I was in the area

Okay, a little bland :( - Edit
Got the vegan breakfast sandwich for breakfast and came again for dinner and got the birdie Mae. Both were a little bland. Needs black pepper, garlic, onion and maybe another sauce.

Great Vegan Options - Edit
We had a delicious breakfast at Crazy Burger. Lots of vegan options, and many more that can easily be made vegan. The Tavocado Toast was great, and came with a side of fresh fruit. It’s a treat to find a place with vegan breakfast!

Hippy Vibe So-So Food - Edit
It's by far the most hippy place in town, and the menu is filled with vegan options. It's nice for when you want to go somewhere and not feel like the wierd one in your group for ordering vegan. But I've never had a meal I loved there. The food is only so-so. But it is nice to have a place you can get dessert or sides or whatever without having to worry about bothering the waiter with questions.

I had higher expectations - Edit
I had really high hopes for Crazy Burger, but the food was a little bit of a let down in my opinion. I had the Poco Loco Vegan Burger, with sweet potato fries. All of my fries were burnt, and the “burger” wasn’t a burger just tempeh in a tortilla wrap. My food was take out so maybe eating in would be a better experience.

Nice place to eat but gets old after awhile - Edit
I am not local but I have been here quite a few times over the years. My favorite thing to order is the Poco Loco vegan "burger" (like all of their burgers, it's really more of a wrap). The other vegan wraps are ok, a little dry. Portion sizes are small. I've also tried the vegan carrot cake, it was good but not worth the $8, it was very oily and did not taste fresh. I also had a coffee peanut butter shake, it was not as flavorful or creamy as I would have liked. I really like that there are options to try even though I keep going back to the Poco Loco. Sometimes they will have a vegan special, those are usually some sort of baked pasta and are really good! I wish that they offered the vegan breakfast food in the evening so that there are more options for dinner. The outdoor patio is really nice, and the indoor area, although sometimes cramped, is a fun environment as well. Staff is lovely and knowledgeable. Usually long wait times but if you're not in a hurry it's worth it!

Solid vegan burgers - Edit
I went here 2 years ago and haven’t forgotten about it! My family had such a good time here, and we loved all of the options on the menu. We went again today, and I loved the Poco Loco burger and sweet potato fries. I got sauce to go on the side, and both were so so so good. My mom got the quinoa burger which she liked, but it wasn’t a sandwich - just a patty. The vegan shakes were just OK, but solid. Pretty watery.

BOGO Burgers in Tuesday’s - Edit
5 or so vegan burgers that are mainstays on the menu and 1 special. Two burger Tuesdays mean buy one get one burgers, so a really affordable way to have some dank vegan junk food. Can order it without the bun in a bowl with their white bean salad and it will be just as delicious.

great place if you like American Diner Food - Edit
For 25 years, Crazy Burger has been a favorite among locals and tourists alike, and among carnivores and vegheads alike. In contrast to the proliferation of veg eateries in the Providence area, South County outside of Westerly seems slow to change from its steady diet of pizza and quahogs (what Rhodie residents call clams), so Crazy Burger remains a mecca for vegans. I had eaten here many times over the course of many years. After a 10-year hiatus, I revisited Crazy Burger two days ago. Its vegan offerings have since expanded (or maybe my memory has since diminished). I recall a longer list of vegan burgers, but far fewer other vegan options throughout the rest of the menu than there are now. In fact, I don’t recall ten years ago seeing the word Vegan except at the head of their list of those burgers. (Two decades ago, you rarely saw the word Vegan anywhere, including even at vegetarian restaurants.) The two tempeh-based burgers presently on their list, whether shorter or longer, are quite worthy, and I don’t recall any tempeh on the menu ten years ago. Aside from the fresh juices also new to their menu, the very many other vegan items now added can best be described as American Diner Fare, so those are no more tempting to my mature palate than is Halloween candy. So I stuck with the burgers. The waiters have long assured that the vegan burgers are cooked on grills separate from the Mad Cow Disease burgers.
Read moreA year-round hot spot on a mostly residential and tranquil side street, this always festive café gets very crowded, very noisy, and very stuffy in the summer. At such times, go for the patio outdoors. Otherwise, indoors the reek of burning flesh often hangs in the air. When people sometimes were waiting outside just to get inside the place (I had thought only Manhattanites were either so hungry or so devoted), I instead used to eat at Markos, a great Mideastern café just a block away, which did serve meat, but never with the stench of burning flesh hanging in the air. But I was disappointed to learn that Markos had recently closed. Maybe he was only acting patronizing, but Mr Markos once did confide to me that, if he could do it all over again, he would make his café all vegetarian because plant foods better spark his creativity than does meat. Well, Mr Markos, here's your chance!
Pros: the all-vegan burgers, the outdoors patio in the back
Cons: hot, noisy, and stuffy inside when crowded, and it often gets crowded

Couldn’t agree with you more! In fact, we were there on the same day. We waited for two hours from the time we put our name on the list and had our dinner. The food was just okay and I regretted hyping up the place to our vegan guest.

Underwhelming - Edit
I can’t believe this place has such rave reviews! We were excited to see so many cool vegan options, but were super underwhelmed. I got the vegan breakfast sandwich which was half a block of unseasoned tofu on a bun with some avocado and cheese. The sausage hash was a small portion, over priced and incredibly bland. The loco burger was very bland, paste-like, and squished in a wrap. The most flavorful thing was the ginger slaw and that was fair at best. The sour cream tasted like herb water. I do have to say they have many unique options like vegan milkshakes/smoothies/juices/and CBD shots. I would consider giving them another try for these items.
Read moreAll in all, the place was very cute. We sat on the patio and it was very unique. Service was pleasant and we didn’t wait long. It’s great to have so many options, but i’d far prefer just a couple well executed dishes.

one of my favorite restaurants! - Edit
I've had almost every vegan option on the menu here. It is all great! It's a casual atmosphere and it's always busy on weekends. It is a lovely spot with SO many vegan options for every meal. They even have vegan milk shakes! I prefer the burgers over the breakfast options but you really can't go wrong. The best vegan breakfast options without a doubt is the Nikisheafu scramble. Some of my favorite burgers are the Poco Loco, the Wild and Crazy Mushroom and the Just Plain Nuts. Fries, Bangkok slaw or roasted vegetables are great sides. The vegan carrot cake is a must! The omni options are great as well (or so I've heard). This restaurant is also BYOB, we typically make a stop at Pier Liquors before. They also do take out which I often get if the wait for a table is long. ADDITIONALLY, on Tuesday nights in the winter they do 2 burgers for the price of 1! I love this place so darn much.

Vegan menu options - Edit
I was pleasantly surprised to find vegan selections in both breakfast and lunch entrees. There were seversl choices in each category! There was a menu for vegan milkshakes and fresh juices combos that you picked! It is our favorite restaurant in the state!!!! You may see a long dinner line on some nights but it's worth waiting for. That's how we noticed it and said," wow, it has to be good to have that many people waiting to get in." We tried it not knowing what the options were. I'm vegan and my daughter is vegetarian and almost vegan. My son isn't that yet.
Read moreThe breakfast items were plenty as the burger section. I saw nut burgers and mushroom variety burgers plus more but not the one black bean burger that shows up as the only vegan option I places.
The juices are fresh squeezed and the frozen lemonade is the best in a hot day!
I have to say we found the jewel by the sea nestled in a small neighborhood away from the congested areas. You will fall in love with it too!
