one of my favorite restaurants! - Edit

I've had almost every vegan option on the menu here. It is all great! It's a casual atmosphere and it's always busy on weekends. It is a lovely spot with SO many vegan options for every meal. They even have vegan milk shakes! I prefer the burgers over the breakfast options but you really can't go wrong. The best vegan breakfast options without a doubt is the Nikisheafu scramble. Some of my favorite burgers are the Poco Loco, the Wild and Crazy Mushroom and the Just Plain Nuts. Fries, Bangkok slaw or roasted vegetables are great sides. The vegan carrot cake is a must! The omni options are great as well (or so I've heard). This restaurant is also BYOB, we typically make a stop at Pier Liquors before. They also do take out which I often get if the wait for a table is long. ADDITIONALLY, on Tuesday nights in the winter they do 2 burgers for the price of 1! I love this place so darn much.

Pros: many vegan options , unique meals , BYOB

Cons: busy! there's often a wait

Yum! - Edit

So happy that this place has so many vegan options! I've only tried one of their vegan burgers, but it was very flavorful and satisfying. Their vegan side dishes are delicious as well, and they have a bunch of vegan breakfast options! Definitely worth waiting for a table. Service is relatively quick, staff is warm and accommodating, and the food is amazing!

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Warm, accommodating staff, Nice vibe

Vegan menu options - Edit

I was pleasantly surprised to find vegan selections in both breakfast and lunch entrees. There were seversl choices in each category! There was a menu for vegan milkshakes and fresh juices combos that you picked! It is our favorite restaurant in the state!!!! You may see a long dinner line on some nights but it's worth waiting for. That's how we noticed it and said," wow, it has to be good to have that many people waiting to get in." We tried it not knowing what the options were. I'm vegan and my daughter is vegetarian and almost vegan. My son isn't that yet.
The breakfast items were plenty as the burger section. I saw nut burgers and mushroom variety burgers plus more but not the one black bean burger that shows up as the only vegan option I places.
The juices are fresh squeezed and the frozen lemonade is the best in a hot day!
I have to say we found the jewel by the sea nestled in a small neighborhood away from the congested areas. You will fall in love with it too!

Pros: Vegan entrees for breakfast with several pisdibili, Several vegan lunch ebtrees, Vegan milkshake menu on display on the table

Cons: None

This is the best place in southern RI to get a good vegan breakfast! The pancakes, home fries, vegan sausage hash, and vegan style breakfast sandwich are SO GOOD! If you're visiting or live around here you need to try ASAP!

What a surprise - Edit

We were staying in Rhode Island to get away from Hurricane Sandy. As a vegan mom to 4 vegan children, I made sure to do my research on available food prior to arriving in RI. My expectations were not high but for the 2 weeks we were in RI, I was very pleased, most especially with Crazy Burger.

I never expected a burger place to have a vegan menu let alone be able to create very tasty vegan food and have a knowedgeable, friendly staff. We ate there twice during the 2 weeks and were happy both times. We all loved the fries and hash browns and the older kids and husband loved the tofu avocado sandwich and shakes while the little ones loved the pancakes. I was very pleased with my tempeh roasted vegetable enchiladas. The staff were so friendly that when they discovered why were in RI, they gave us a $25 gift certificate for a return visit which we did do and would have done anyway even without the certificate.

Pros: Friendly staff, Great vegan food, Huge portions

Cons: Small place so a bit cramped

Nice options, unique feel - Edit

The beachy, breezy establishment has great food, comfortable seating, and so many options. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is like something you'd see in an eclictic movie scene.

Food is great - can't go wrong. I loved my pancakes. Everyone else loved their dishes too.

One of the greatest places on the planet - Edit

This is in my vegan's friend hometown and is probably one of the major reasons she's still vegan. All of their food is delicious and there are tons of options for omnivores, vegetarians and vegans. The wait staff is very friendly and on top of great food there are wonderful vegan smoothies, coffee drinks and desserts.

Pros: Great food, Lots of choices, Friendly staff

Cons: not a lot of seating

Yum! - Edit

Rhode Island is kinda limited with it's vegan/vegetarian dining options. I give Crazy Burger 3 stars for yummmy food. The only thing that is not yummy is that the french fries are cooked with everything else fried, ie. calmari, chicken, ect. Not Yummy. But the vegan burgers are clean and delicious and vegan pancakes are the best I've ever had! And vegan cookeis!

Pros: vegan pancakes, tofu scrambler, vegan milkshakes

Cons: french fries not veg., cold in winter

One of my favorite restaurants on the planet! - Edit

One of my favorite places to eat in New England, hands down. Tasty recommendations for vegan: the champ pizza with vegan cheeze, the Just Plain Nuts burger (made with cashews/nuts/seeds and topped with a sundried tomato pesto), poundies (side dish of mashed potatoes with spinach and carrots "pounded" in), and vegan cookie splits (huge cookies with bananas and Rice Dream). I have never ever been disappointed with the food, the service, or anything else here. The restaurant and decorations/art inside are all very cute and beachy, and the waitresses are always very friendly. It is a really great place with a fantastic outdoor terrace for warm-weather meals. Narragansett is very lucky to have this gem! Keep up the great work, Crazy Burger!

Pros: incredible food, great, friendly service, fun, beachy atmosphere
