Good food but expensive - Edit
We went here with a group of eleven. The ambiance is very pleasant and the space is pristine. They have 2 fully vegan entrees a pasta and a buckwheat dish. Both are delicious. The pasta has a sort of pesto sauce with veggies and mushrooms. The buckwheat has a sort of carnitas taste and comes with portobellos. They also have a vegan arepa with sweet plantains and black beans. Everything was well made, not super oily. We also tried the yuka fries and were great. The owner was at the bar and was very helpful letting us know about the vegan options. The waitress was not helpful. This is a minority woman owned restaurant.

Cons: Waitress was not knowledgeable about vegan options, Very pricey. Entrees were $30 and $28, Arepa $20

Truly exceptional - Edit
I agree with the other review; this place is outstanding. The stand-outs for us were the Yucca Fries and the plantains, both of which were on par with the best we've had in places like CA or AZ.

Un viaje a Venezuela - Edit
Run, don’t walk, here to experience truly authentic South American cuisine.
Read moreWhile dining at Crasqui, I could not help but feel that others in Venezuela were simultaneously eating the exact same food as I.
Chef Soleil Ramirez transports you to her homeland in a welcoming and elevated way through the tropical décor (inspired by the white-sand island of the same name off the northern coast of Venezuela), the casual yet upscale ambiance, and beautifully plated food garnished with flowers.
Each bite of the Yuca Sticks appetizer was satisfyingly crunchy and in my opinion far superior to French fries. Yuca, a woody shrub native to South America, is a starchy tuber that is mild to the taste like a potato, but with its own thing going taste-wise.
Chef Ramirez helped craft a delightful Arepa consisting of various vegan fillings wrapped in baked flatbread that is made from ground white maize imported from Venezuela.
All aspects of this wonderful restaurant beckon a return visit.
