Serves meat, vegan options available. Opened Fall 2017. A fresh and organic eatery with a staff that is very knowledgeable of vegan and vegetarian food. Most of the crafted salads are available as (clearly labeled) vegan. Has multiple sandwiches and flatbreads that are vegetarian. Vegans please inquire if they have started offering vegan bread for the sandwich & flatbread menu. Open Mon-Sat 11:00am-9:00pm, Sun 11:00am-8:00pm.

Fresh food, accommodating & friendly staff. Good prices and the vegan options are good. Lots of salads that can be made vegan. There is just one vegan option for sandwiches, but it was good!

Great surprise find - Edit
I was in El Cajon, CA on business and discovered this gem - organic with some great vegan options. The servers are all very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about what is vegan. They all seem very happy which, in my mind, says something good about the owner. One time eating there I met him. He was delightful and does care very much about serving healthy food and creating a good work environment. A few times my business associates accompanied me and although not vegan, they ate what I did and loved having healthy food and the atmosphere.

I’m not sure what bread it normally comes on but we always request for them to do the kids grilled cheese with vegan cheese & ciabatta bread. Soooo delicious. It also comes with fresh made potato chips & a side of fruit (usually cantaloupe & pineapple) and a drink, juice box or Stubborn soda (get the cola 🤤).
My son doesn’t care for it, but I CAN NOT order this without getting like 3-4 sides of their chimichurry. Omg it’s FANTASTICCCC!! It’s fabulous on the grilled cheese and also with the potato chips.
They also have a grilled veggie sandwich on ciabatta that’s pretty good too, you can up that sandwich with the chimichurry too but personally I crave the grilled cheese too much and dont get anything else. It’s my favorite grilled cheese anywhere. 10/10

The veggie sandwich was okay, but nothing more. When we asked for a knife, we got one that was really dirty (and wet). It was so gross. The sandwich comes with really dull potato chips on the side. It seemed pointless -as a cheap solution.

I would give them 4 stars if I could. I just confirmed ALL of their breads are vegan! Also, they have vegan cheese, but it's not recommended on the flatbread, because of its funky melt (or lack thereof).

Yesterday I had the Mediterranean salad without cheese. Soooo freakin good! Even the meat-eating husband loved it. The lemon vinegarette was delicious.
This is definitely my new favorite place in East County.
Pros: Very vegan friendly., Knowledgeable staff., Super fresh ingredients.

I asked the front desk person what vegan options they have and she walked me through their entire menu of what is vegan and what can be made vegan. Most of their salads can be made vegan and about half of their sides are vegan. She told me they are looking for a local vegan bread provider so they can offer sandwiches and flatbreads for vegans.
Read moreI had the Thai salad vegan and it was DELICIOUS! I took it home and my mom who is not vegan tried it and loved it so much she got it the next we went.
The restaurant is so clean, professional, and fresh looking! The wait staff and food is nothing short of amazing!
