Not Vegan - Avoid! - Edit
I ordered a double Impossible burger with dessert for pickup. When I arrived at the time the order was supposed to be ready, I stood there for 15 minutes waiting for someone to acknowledge me. Multiple staff members rudely told me to move out of the way as I stood by the register waiting to pick up my order. Eventually, a waitress looked at me and said "what do you want?" I told her I was there to pick up an online order. Acting annoyed, she grabbed a bag that had been sitting there the whole time, and handed it to me. It obviously had no dessert included so I asked about the dessert. She told me I could have ice cream. When I asked if they had any vegan dessert options, she said "We're not vegan." I was confused and asked if the burger she just handed me was vegan, and again she said "we're not vegan". When I said I wouldn't be able to eat it if it's not vegan, she told me to leave and give it to someone who would eat it. I never received the dessert I paid for. When I opened the burger, it was two real meat patties on a bun. That's it. No toppings. Not even any ketchup. I am shocked that this place has good reviews on happycow. Beware! If you order an Impossible burger, they will give you a real meat burger instead.

Beyond Burger was good 👍🏼 - Edit
Very nice lady served my husband and I. She told us all the vegan options they had. We both got the beyond burger. One with a side of fries and the other with a side of tater tots. Both meals were very nice.

Great to find a place with vegan options in Wyoming - Edit
Wyoming is not the easiest state to be a vegan, so it's great to find a restaurant with plant-based options. My husband and I came to Sheridan to stay for a night and I was pleasantly surprised to find the Cowboy Cafe in the main downtown area. This is by no means an exclusively vegan/vegetarian restaurant, but they do have some decent options. It's a nice little Cafe with a cozy vibe and friendly staff. Our server was very helpful and accommodating and explained their vegan options for me very clearly. They have a vegan black bean burger, Impossible burger and plant-based chicken options. I ordered a black bean burger and my husband got the plant-based chicken sandwich. The food wasn't amazing but it was definitely tasty and pretty good for what and where it is. I was very grateful to find a restaurant with vegan options in a relatively small town in Wyoming. If you're ever in the area definitely check out the Cowboy Cafe!

We had the homemade vegan patty and fake chicken sandwich. It was so good. The sweet potato fries were delicious too. I wish I had a restaurant like this back home. Ordering online made it super easy to order.

Charming downtown area. Stopped here to try their house made burger. Unfortunately they ran out a few weeks back and have not made them. So we got something else. It was a little disappointing, but a good burger. I didn’t even ask about the bun??? I also didn’t ask about the pie.

Pleasant Surprise in Cowboy Country - Edit
Let’s face it, Wyoming is not a destination for vegans. I should know since I was born and raised in Wyoming. That said, when you find a vegan option in a town of 17K, you have to smile. Cowboy Cafe was packed. Offered in-house made vegan patties and vegan chicken substitute. They also have homemade pie! Just make sure to request no butter on the chicken sandwich bread and obviously no cheese/pesto on menu options. Servers Jac and Crystal were a great team. Both worked their tails off, but could have used some backup assistance with sweeping floors.
