Hearty Vegan Food - Edit
We visited Prague the week just gone and we ate at Country Life restaurant twice. As a pay per gram buffet experience I found this a little expensive at it worked out around £8 a plate upon Czech money to English rate conversion, but this is a good business technique to account for food waste. The hearty dishes such as pumpkin , beetroot and potato dish were very tasty and the salad bar was always fresh. I was well looked after in respect of gluten free choice and the staff were knowledgeable on allergens.

What a selection! - Edit
Huge self-service vegan bar in the heart of Prague’s Old Town. You can eat exactly as much you want, whatever you want and what looks good for you, but – first of all – healthy. There’s a selection of salads, sprouts, raw and warm vegetables, goulashes, soups, chops, cereals, legumes (perfectly cooked), sometimes also baked potatoes or pizzas. I was eating there during my two trips to Prague and each time the warm dishes were different. I’d like to praise the great sauces („soyonnaise” was delicious) and toppings – pumpkin and sunflower seeds, sesame. Considering the location, the prices aren’t high. That’s why many you can meet here a lot of local people as well. The interior is spacious, there’s always place for everyone. You can also take a seat outside. Next to the bar there’s also a vegan grocery store. The overall quality of food is good. There’s also a variety of drinks and free water. Cakes – if you are into sweet deserts – are available as well. Recommended!

Delicious vegan food for a very, very lovely price :) - Edit
After visiting Liberec, Hadrec Kralove and Kutna Hora, i am now as a traveling dad heading with my four children for Prague. Is it possible in this worldly city to find vegan food for an affordable price? The good news: Yes it is!!! And we were amazed by the amount of options we had. It was a surplus. We had a full plate full, each with a bio beverages for €7 euros. And my daughters were over the moon, they loved the food and the fact that they had so much choice.

I liked it - Edit
It’s a buffet and you pay per gram. It’s cheap for the center of Prague and there are a lot of different dishes to chose from. I like more seasoning, but it’s tasty anyway.

Bon et pas cher - Edit
On se sert soi-même au buffet et à la fin l'assiette est pesée pour définir le prix. Beaucoup de choix, aussi bien froid que chaud.

Super nice restaurant in the center of Prague - Edit
This restaurant is located near the center of Prague, which is really nice when you want to take a break from visiting the city.
Read moreLike a lot of other places in Prague, you pay your food by weight : there is a buffet where you can choose whatever you want and you will pay depending on the weight of your plate. There is a lot of choice, everything vegan, and everything I tasted was really good ; especially the potatoes !
This really cheap, we paid 423 czk (~16€50) for two full plates (but no dessert).
I really recommand this place !
Pros: Lot of choices , Cheap, Very good

Mixed feelings - Edit
I went here with my mother and she felt this was the best food she had eaten in Prague, however I tried different food and did not enjoy it at all. It is a buffet style restaurant and we went late in the day, the food looked quite mushy and not very appetising; however as I said my mother loved it and really wants to go again.

I did not eat the buffet but - Edit
When I got there, it was extremely busy, and very many were standing in line for buffet. However, none of the dishes were marked with ingredients (there was a paper in Czech mentioning sesame, but seemed to be very general and not directed to any of the dishes in the buffet directly), and none of the staff were available to answer any questions about the food. I was in there for about 15 minutes, trying to get in contact with some of the staff, but no luck.
Read moreI did buy a sandwich as it had clearly written ingredients on the packaging, which was pretty bland. Not impressed, but I wish I could have tried food from buffet as well.
Pros: Many options in buffet, Plenty of sitting places

Mediocre to awful - Edit
I had a mix of lentils and soy meat (dry and tasteless), a potato and vegetable dish (way too salty), a cheesy potato dish (bland), and some soup (ok at first, but its cabbagy aftertaste became unpleasant with time). On the other hand, everything on the salad bar looked fresh and pretty promising. There are much better options than this in Prague.

Restaurant is misleading, it's a buffet. You choose your food and then go to the counter, where it's weighed and then you pay. There are no waiters that come to the table. The inside decoration is wood based, cosy and spacious.

amazing, healthy and cheap buffet and cakes - Edit
the buffet is very big, it includes cold salads, mock-meats, veggies, sauces, seeds, warm dishes, rice etc. and has a correct price. All the dishes were delicious. All the ingredients are fresh, many are organic.

Would go there again 10/10.
