5 stars if i could

I wish you could have seen my face when the lady said every sweet thing in there is vegan. I was shocked. I was like ok well then let me get these 5 things and eat them all in one go. The custard danish was the most beautiful thing i have ever eaten in my entire life it was so amazing its a shame its so far from my house or id be going every single day

Vegans bakery galore

Approaching the end of the year to January, many restaurants and shops will be launching vegan foods for #veganuary .
I like the way Coughlans has the vegan steak bake way before Greggs which I will try later.
As well as the Vegan Steak Bake, they also have the foot long vegan sausage roll.
Tried captivating treats like Butterscotch yum yum and the iced apple lattice which were delish.

Huge menu

Ordered a huge cake for dads birthday! It was delicious, albeit there was a lot of cream.

The sweet items are so tasty, one of my faves is the Viennese fingers.
Savoury items are also delicious.

Pros: Huge menu, Tasty, Cheap

Plenty of Vegan savoury pastries and cakes

The story goes that the owner of this South London based bakery chain turned vegan and hence started making as many vegan options as possible in his bakery chain. There were at least 5 savoury pastries and we tried the leek sausage roll, the vegan steak and mushroom pastry (which yes it is better than the Greggs one!), the cheese and onion pasty and the meat balls and chese toastie. All went down a treat especially the mushroom steak pastry. The price difference between eating in and take away is considerable so we took our three cakes home to have with a cup of tea. They were all rather too sweet but I did enjoy the cupcake coconut bakewell tart.
Coughlans also do fancy big vegan cakes to order. Lets hope they continue to veganise their selection but congratulations on what theybhave already done!

Pros: Many vegan options. , Quick friendly service

Cons: Not much seating, Serves meat
