Delicious food

Seeked this place out, obviously and glad i did. Whilst it's full of odds and sods (charity shop chic) which isn't really my thing, the welcome and vibe grabbed me.
Really nice owner, and the food was AMAZING at a great price (verging on cheap).
Food was in a box, which i'm not fussed about but a coffee needs to be in a mug, i'm sure he has his reasons (classic; dishwasher Vs paper boxes and cups debate).
It's a must, just for the jerk chick'n rice dish and toastie!
Alexa; play 'cosy jazz coffe shop vibes...'

Pros: Owner, Price, Vibe

Cons: Paper cups

Place is a vibeeee

We came here to get a dessert only, however were sold on the mains when we saw them on the board so got some jerk chikn & rice to take away, good size portion, value for money.
Had a hot chocolate whilst we waited because the food is prepared FRESH and was really good. Place was an absolute vibeeee, old board games to play, guitars, just really kitchy cool chilling atmosphere and the staff were super friendly and welcoming.

Delicious food

First time visiting the Cosy Jazz Cafe and I will 100% be visiting again.

All food and drinks were vegan/plant based. I had a hot chocolate as it’s so hard to find a completely vegan hot chocolate locally. I would highly recommend the Jerk chicken rice. The portion size was huge and comes in a takeaway box which is handy and means I can have it for tea.
Looking forward to trying the rest of the menu next time I visit.

It’s such an intriguing cafe to visit with beautiful artwork, games and books all around. Lots of things to keep you entertained. #Veganuary

Pros: Everything was vegan, Food and drinks were delicious

The best Vegan cafe I have been to.

Welcome to Blackpool. We have the best park in the U.K., the tallest rollercoaster in the U.K. The worlds largest mirrorball and the worlds best water ride - Valhalla. We also have a Victorian era tower, miles of perfect beach and the Cozy Jazz cafe. I saved the best till last. An amazing space which is always full of colourful people, relaxing Jazz music and great food. Play chess or a board game whilst you wait for your food or have a chat with the person next to you because they are always fascinating or just drink in the atmosphere. The portions are more than generous and the owner Josh is ace.

Nice food (with a side order of conspiracy theories?)

So, let's get the pros out the way - The philly cheese steak and jerk chicken (both vegan of course) were tasty and were very generous portion sizes. The decor, with sofas and low lighting and incense helped bring on the cafe's titular 'cosy'. It basically comes across as a lovely little, chilled vegan cafe. All to the soundtrack of jazz (which I can take or leave but if it's your thing, great! If you hate it, you won't be able to last long in there).

One thing that I can't say is necessarily a pro or a con is that the waiting time on food and even drinks is very (VERY) long. If you go expecting this, then it is nice to be slowed down from the hustle and bustle but if you are hungry, an off the cuff visit here is not for you.

So. The cons. All the cups, plates, cutlery was disposable. It was shocking actually, that our teas came in disposable cups and our food in cardboard boxes, even more so due to the fact it is a vegan place.
And the vibe...well...it was all very friendly and relaxed, but the lack of covid advice etc (admittedly after July 19 2021) was strange - until we found The Light 'truthpaper', packed full of anti-mask and anti-vaccine stories and (apparently much-liked by Piers Corbyn - yikes!). A regular customer, sat on a table next to us, also played a loud video at one point, about conspiracy theories.

Despite the nice food, perhaps best avoided.

Pros: Tasty food with big portions, genuinely cosy

Cons: seemingly covid deniers?, super long waiting times, disposable cups and plates

Great vibe & food

Lovely quirky chilled out place, allowed our dog in. Loved the addition of the games and books that were available. We had the jerk 'chicken' rice which was full of flavour! Not spicy but you can add spice to taste with bottles available on table. The portion size was also huge for me so I took the rest of mine home. We also took some chocolate fudge cake back with us which was delicious!

Pros: Food , Atmosphere , Price

Cons: None

Amazing food!

We had the jerk chicken rice and it was so flavoursome and delicious. We also had chocolate pudding for desert which was rich and amazing with a lovely icing. The owner was very friendly and the ambience very homely and chilled out. Reasonable prices too! Loved it! Thanks

The Best vegan Cafe

The most amazing Vegan cafe I have ever been to. Very relaxing inside with games to keep you entertained, relaxing music and comfortable seating. I had a Chai Latte and it was incredible. The portions were big and the food was delicious. Very kind host who made us feel very welcome. 10/10 would recommend and visit here again.

Chill vibe at Cosy Jazz Café!

Popped into Cosy Jazz Cafe and was greeted by the lovely owner! It is a Jazz haven with chilled background jazz music. We had some delicious milkshakes and cake (fully vegan which was great!) and the rest of the menu looked amazing! Will definitely be back!

Great food and an even better atmosphere

Had the jerk 'chicken' and rice with a chocolate cake afterwards. The food was really good and exceptional value for money but I really loved the atmosphere of the place, everywhere you looked you saw something new. There are plenty of games and books around the place to keep you entertained too.

Thank you to the owner for making us feel so welcome and hope to return when I'm next near Blackpool.

Pros: Great food, Great vibes , Great owner

Big flavours, big portions, big welcome

Blackpool doesn’t seem to be a town with a whole lot of vegan options but Cosy Jazz Café has everything you need - plenty of substantial, healthy, delicious options on the menu, chilled soft drinks, great music, friendly staff, outdoor seating when the sun is shining, super value for money… I really enjoyed the jerk toastie, with one of the best side salads I’ve ever tasted! Will definitely be back next time I’m in town!

Big food for small price

Had the jerk chicken and rice. It was very flavoursome, with lots of different things in the rice. The cafe has "atmosphere", and the guy was super friendly.

They have a random assortment of books to read, art on the walls, and different types of seating.

Pros: Great food, Low Prices, Friendly service

Cons: The music. I'm just not a Jazz fan., Only one staff, so may be slow.

The only place to eat in Blackpool!

Let me tell you I have had some terrible food since I’ve been in Blackpool but this place is amazing. The jerk chicken is fantastic so flavoursome and interesting I wish I could cook like them. The staff are so friendly and the cafe is very cosy, full of books and art.

Delicious food, great atmosphere

Stopped into the only dedicated vegan place we could find in the middle of Blackpool and we weren’t disappointed. Really friendly, a great antidote to everything else round about.

Pros: Great atmosphere , Huge portions

Cons: Wish it had been open for breakfast
