A surprising place to find vegan options - Edit
I’m a pilot and visit these small airport cafes with some regularity. They are generally the least vegan friendly places you can find. So, to find a place that has scrambled tofu for breakfast and fried tofu salad and a fried tofu sandwich for lunch/dinner is pretty awesome. I flew down here today just to check this place out.
Read moreIt’s a small cafe that also serves as a gift/pilot shop. You place your order at the counter and they call you when your food is ready. I got a coffee, the tofu scramble, and dry wheat toast. The coffee is pretty good and the tofu scramble was a generous portion with lots of broccoli and veggies. The toast was a head scratcher. The portion was one slice of a very small loaf of bread (see picture). In any case, this was a good breakfast. I’ll be back. #Veganuary
