Great quick stop for filling tempeh tacos/burrito. Just let the owners know you're vegan and they'll help you select options. Very fresh ingredients.

We ordered our food and could see the waitress and the cook touching everything with their bare hands. He threw tortillas on the grill no gloves, asparagus and yucca fries. The table next to us had their tacos topped with cilantro with no gloves. Cross contaminating for being a vegan, unclean conditions and possibility of bacteria growth.

This has been the only time I’ve enjoyed tempeh lol. Big burrito and very filling. Just wish they could be more customizable, they don’t have a lot of veggie toppings to add or sub.

This was a food truck gone restaurant. So glad they did. It’s a small spot but full of a great staff. The 5 points taco is delicious. I’m glad they have a few options for the vegetarian/vegan.

I really like the food here. It’s cheap and good quality. My non-veg partner was less fond of their food so there’s that. They make their sauces in house and they use good quality clean ingredients. The yuca fries are awesome.

I got the steamed asparagus taco. It was pretty simple but good; and only $3.75 for what was enough for lunch. The cherry limeade was also good (made with homemade grenadine). The menu is pretty simple but they had three or four designated veg options, which makes it easy to choose.
Read moreThe restaurant is pretty small, but cute, and big enough that it shouldn’t get too crowded considering how quick the food is. Most of the seating is indoors, with just a couple tables out front.

Great little taco joint. Food is fresh and flavorful. The staff is courteous - counter staff made suggestions to vegan options. Vibe is funky and fun. It's a little small inside, but they do a nice job with the space they have. Once you've placed your order, relax a little bit, and they will bring it to you.
Read moreSo far, Corner Taco has the best yucca fries I have ever had - soft inside and perfect fry on the outside. We also had the Tempeh Taco, the 5 Points, and the Vegan Seared Asparagus Taco - flavorful. We order them with the corn tortilla - the tortillas are all house made and you can request an all natural flour tortilla, corn tortilla, or a local lettuce wrap if desired.
Now that we've tried them and understand the corn tortillas are the soft (maize) kind, we will probably order the lettuce wrap next time. :)

Tried all 3 vegan tacos and we liked all of them. Plus they serve local beers - one about 1 mile away. We had the pinto beans and rice as well as yucca fries. The sauces were all good.
Service were really nice. This is a laid back, neighborhood joint that was really good. Kids welcome. Great for a first date or quick lunch with the gang. Also, I think I would go there on my own and feel comfortable.
We sat outside and enjoyed the evening breeze. Parking was easy on a Sunday, but was told it was difficult on weekend nights. Don't know if it is available on public transportation.

This place has among the best fresh tempeh I've ever had. For tacos/tostadas, tempeh and beans are the only veg protein options but they're very good. Confirmed the pinto beans are vegan but am not sure about the black beans, please check with them before ordering! Nothing on the menu is labeled vegan but the cashier that day was familiar with what vegan means.

Hi There-we appreciate you taking the time to write this. We actually have quite a few Vegan options and we're honored that quite a few Vegans come regularly. In addition to the Local Tempeh, we have Seared Asparagus Tacos (as well as sides of Asparagus), Quinoa "Tabouli"/Hummus Tacos (The 5 Points),. Any of these can be turned into a salad with local lettuce. Our pinto beans and rice are vegan. The black beans do have meat. Our housemade queso is vegetarian. We are the only Mexican restaurant within several hundred miles to have earned the Slow Food Snail of Approval. Our tortillas are cooked in house; most items are naturally gluten free...
