Feast for our tummies - Edit
We are new visitors to Montreal. So grateful for Happy Cow! Found this yummy restaurant using the app. So many choices, all vegan, it was hard to chose. We each got a bowl and shared a smoothie with lime, ginger, turmeric, and orange. Such a friendly man at the register. We may come here again during our short visit.

I had heard and read a lot of bad feedback and reviews about Copper Branch, so I had never tried it out until today.
Read moreI went to the nearest one, which happened to be this one, and got an asian fusion bowl with rice and shiitake teriyaki. There was almost no one in the store, except for a few people picking up their online orders, so I was within a few minutes.
The bowl I was served was huge, filled with a variety of healthy food and a cup of sauce. The food was great: fresh, tasty, refreshing, and filling (but not bloating)!
For 12.99$, I definitely felt like I got my money’s worth, and then some more!
Now, I don’t know if the experience is the same in every location, but I certainly recommend you give it a shot and see for yourself!
Pros: Simple food that tastes good and feels good, Quick service, Reasonably priced
Cons: Nothing bad to report for the moment!

Copper branch is a vegan food chain that has various locations in and around the city. Each restaurant has a trendy and clean feel. It is a good option when you want to have a quick healthy meal on the go. The food is tasty, but a little overpriced my opinion. My personal favourites are the shiitake teriyaki burger and the Aztec bowl.

I came there during lunch and it was very busy. Getting a somewhat sloppy portabello burger took quite a while. Not a place I'd recommend for someone who want to sit down and eat, take out would work. Burger was tasty though.

Menu is not huge, and food is basic but man is this tasty. My boyfriend got the recommendation from someone at the hostel we were staying at (he is omni) and I am glad those strangers had good taste in food.

I’ve been to Copper Branch quite a few times now, this location here, as well as others. What to say - all of it is vegan, which is great. Their sandwiches and burgers are what I almost always order, and they’re definitely tasty, albeit not overly filling in my opinion. With the sometimes slightly high prices, occasionally sterile atmosphere and seemingly often ‘tired’ staff, a potential 5 star chain is an ever consistent solid 4 star one.

Copper branch is the first vegan chain in Montreal. They are steadily growing and the first step in their location will let you know why. A beautiful design as well as some awesome dishes is a killer equation. It does not have that mom and pops feel but it is a sure bet either when in town or travelling.

Read moreI’ve been to two different Copper Branches and on both occasions the member of staff walked away from the till before the card transaction was complete...seemingly too busy to go through the usual “thank you, take a seat, etc” although it was very quiet on both visits.
Chili was okay...can’t go wrong with that really. Waffles were dry and definitely not fresh.

Copper Branch has many locations in Montreal and offers a decent range of vegan food, from bowls, soups, burgers to poutine! Their poutine is very good and is generous in terms of size. I also liked most of their burgers with extra cheese. Prices are fair and the service is quick. They also have large opening hours which is very convenient. Try the poutine!

I didn't have to walk far from my spot at McGill to get some amazing vegan food. I had the chia banana chocolate pudding and portobello poutine. It was delicious! Seriously the BEST poutine I've ever had. Their fries are fantastic and the gravy is perfect. They will challenge my fruititarian ratios, for sure!

I'm assuming all of the locations are going to be equally delightful. I called to verify they were open and completely forgot to use my 'broken' French. Fortunately, the guy on the phone switched immediately to English for me. I had the breakfast tofu wrap and it was scrumptious! How many times do you actually get to use that word???? I'm guessing not many - but that's how good it was. I'll definitely return here for a vegan meal on-the-go. Devoured it too quickly for a picture (sorry).

It would be hard to overstate how much I loved my meal here. I was really in the mood for something fresh with lots of vegetables and I got it: a big bowl of quinoa, salad greens, sprouted things, shredded beets and carrots, kimchi, tempeh--the works! It was very filling and very fresh relative to other "fresh food" places I've eaten. I will definitely go back.

During our recent visit to Montreal we had one breakfast and 2 lunches at this Branch. All were very good fast food, delivered quickly in a clean atmosphere by cordial staff. Highly recommend for a quick meal.

This is a go to place! It is deliciously delicious, the people are nice and friendly. When you order, they ask for your name first and I find this very important for restaurants ! It feels like you're in the family. The place itself is peaceful and relaxing and so pretty! Vegans and non vegans will not be disappointed!
