Tasty and rich - Edit
As vegan comfort food, my Smoked Tempeh absolutely hit the spot! Included ‘cheeze’ is not exactly health food(!), but my added veggie was the delicious sriracha coleslaw.

Delicious and Fresh - Edit
Three of us dined here on October 12, 2024. The cobb salad was generously portioned and every ingredient in it was at the peak of freshness. It was served with ranch dressing but didn't need much of it because the salad was plenty salty from the bacon tempeh. The shiitake teriyaki burger was delicious. I loved the burger bun. I feel that the Canadian burger buns are so much better than the buns that are served in the United States. My friend had the burrito branchero and would give it a definite thumbs up.

OK in a pinch - Edit
Copper Branch struck us as a not-as-good-as-but-comparable-to Veggie Grill in the U.S. There are restaurants all around Montreal, and it’s a convenient way to get something reliably vegan, but I wouldn’t choose to eat there unless I had no other options.

The ultimate sandwich is loaded with everything you could possibly want on a breakfast sandwich. It was very satisfying. I also enjoyed their iced chai and matcha latte

Daily breakfast - Edit
Discovered their Just egg and tempeh English muffin on my second day of my week vacation and it has been my first stop every morning. Then I discovered the cheesecake which is by far the most convincing vegan cheesecake I have ever had. Worth the splurge.

Better Than Ever - Edit
It's been a minute (2019) since I first discovered Copper Branch here in Montreal, and I was smitten. Shortly after I returned to NYC, I was delighted to discover they were coming to Bleeker Street in the Village, was one of their first customers, and was sorely disappointed when I later learned that the NYC outpost had been permanently closed.

The menu has been changed up, and as good as I remember that it was, now it's even better! Healthful, tasty, inventive, crafty, and as much a delight to the eyes as it is to my tummy! 😍😋
Pros: Healthy and artfully crafted culinary delights, Truly affordable , Equally satisfying dining in or as takeout

Say it ain’t so - Edit
I really want to love copper branch but at some point it became really slimey. I don’t know if it’s the type of oil they use or something but on paper these bowls should be fantastic BUT whenever I order one the consistency of far off ( too cold when it should be hot or sat in a chair for an hour warm for things that should be cold ) and has that weird slime consistency that feels like you are swallowing phlegm. With a few tweaks this place would be perfect but I dunno. Not sure what makes it feel like the food has been sitting out on a counter for three hours but it never tastes fresh either. The only thing I can think of is … THE AIR CONDITIONER. It’s always jacked up to the maximum and maybe it messes with the food? I dunno, please fix this CB because I really don’t wanna see Montreal loose another vegan place to eat.

You will regret not visiting it! - Edit
I really loved the food here. Poutine is nice. The salads are super flavourful and big enough portions.
Read moreWe tried the brownie with was tasty and also the chia pudding with overnight maple oats, which was incredible!
We couldn’t believe we could try an English muffin with hash browns that tasted so close to the original.
Lots of options and it all tasted great. Wish we could visit more often but would definitely go again if going to Montreal!

Convenient, delicious, all vegan! - Edit
What a blessing that this place was around the corner from our hotel for a work conference! I came here for breakfast and got the tempeh BLT on a bagel (it’s gluten free) with hash browns and a latte and for lunch and got the Asian bowl. Both were great! I wish copper branch existed in my city!

Really good food - Edit
The food was great. We ordered from this location 4 times on our trip. The final time there was a mix up with our online order where at first they told me I ordered from the wrong location and when I showed them my email, they realized they just didn't make my food. Unfortunately, this set us back a good 20-30 minutes. Otherwise every other visit was on point!

Poutine was disappointing - Edit
I don’t know about their other food but the “Poutine” had the worst fries I ever ate in my life. This needs definitely improvement or maybe it would be better to take them off the menu entirely.

Delicious and friendly - Edit
Whole family enjoyed our meals here. We waited out a summer rainstorm and just kept ordering more delicious items. Kids enjoyed the bagel breakfast sandwich and a deluxe burger. (We all found the poutine too salty.) The adults loved the salad bowls, as each had a unique and flavorful dressing. We went back for a smoothie, a superb cinnamon role and a cookie, too. The service was very friendly and helpful. I’d go there all the time if I lived in Montreal.
