Plant based sandwiches

In the back corner of the store they have a few vegan sandwiches. This was great to pack on my trip to the airport. The tuna sandwich was surprisingly good!

Pros: Vegan sandwiches to go, Reasonably prices in an expensive city

Cons: Wish they had a vegan section

Great variety of vegan stuff

Wether you’re grabbing a ready meal/sambo or something to cook this branch will leave plenty to choose from! I do believe Migros is better tho!

Loads of options

They have a huge variety of vegan products. From frozen fast food to fresh fruits and vegetables, from vegan cheese to vegan meat you'll find anything.

Despite meat and dairy, they’re continuously expanding their vegan range

The vegan section at Coop is one of the largest among mainstream supermarkets in the country.

American abroad

I'll admit when I first started outsourcing for restaurants for my trip to Zurich I was so worried I wouldn't be able to eat, as every menu I found was NOT vegan friendly. Luckily I was two blocks away from a coop and WOW. I felt like a kid in a candy store. While we have a handful of vegan alternatives in the US it does not compare to the choices they have in Europe, or even in the very meat focused area of Zurich. I'm bring a second suitcase next time I travel abroad.

Pros: So many vegan choices
